Just finished Inuyasha final act finally and I’m over here in tears, felt like my childhood left with that, seeing Inuyasha happy with Kagome wearing the same type of clothes as Kikyō, was symbolic and beautiful, Sesshomaru bringing Rin clothes and everyone just happy, finally, peace.
I miss this manga/anime. Would be nice if she picked it up with Kagome's adventures in the Feudal Era, how is she coping, did they have kids (Inuyasha is human on the new moon wink wink).

I cannot get over the moment Inuyasha and Kagome had on the night of the new moon. 1st he was surprised that Kagome cried 4 him. Then he said that Kagome smelled nice and she totally blushed. It was the 1st sentimental moment they had and that's why it's my favorite. Although when they kissed (both times) I almost cried. The episode where they almost kissed in Kagome's room though was priceless, cuz it was funny and heart wrenching after it got interrupted.🤗😭😁

Well you have to understand during the 90s Violence against women was a touchy and widely complained subject but violence on Rash men was particularity comedic as a way of "punishing them" And jakotsu would have had to die in order to have defeated them. Killing a female is different from sit commands when he says something stupid, and because hes a demon a lot of people wouldn't notice it.

I'm sorry if you got this pointed out to you many times now but you mispronounced Ayumi Hamasaki. First name was pronounced correctly but the surname sort of sounded like a different one entirely.

Great video, however Inuyasha didn't launch Ayumi Hamasaki's career at all. Ayu was already huge dating back from 98. Kinda like how Namie's music was placed in Inuyasha. I do think it helped Ayumi gain a huge following outside of Japan though. Same kinda goes for BoA... BoA had already released four singles that were really big on the Orincon charts prior to Every Heart being in Inuyasha. Maybe I'm confused though! 😅 Maybe you meant it helped launch their careers outside of Japan? 😅 Also Ayumi has never lent music for the anime Gravitation. ^^ Your video was very informative though, and I enjoyed watching it! :D

Lol k, since I was born in the late 2000s, and watched it when it was officially done (like the series and the movies were all out by the time I started watching it), I was really bummed out thinking that inuyasha was really underrated and didn’t get the recognition it deserved, but watching this video tells me that inuyasha after all DID get some recognition if not ALL of the recognition it deserves, I just didn’t exist at the time being 😅😅😅😭😭😭, so I’m relieved to know that it was a really well known anime, if not the most popular........ One actor such as Mark Gibbon played 2 Band of Seven characters as well as the actress who played Kagome's mom also played one of Kagome's friends Ayumi Or was it Eri? And then there's the actress who played Shippo also played Yuka. And who else have played throughout the series or more.

I don't know a lot about that, but I do know the whole 'Inuyasha was supposed to be a more violent manga', which is why it's set during wars. 9. It truly is unfortunate there's only one DS game from what I've seen. 10. Sounds true. Most shows, animes, cartoons, books, manga's, etc love making references and easter eggs. Now, here are some more interesting facts (particularly about the band of seven because I'm quite obsessed with them). There are a few radio dramas for Inuyasha, which are audio-only episodes and only available in Japanese. One is titled "The Band of Seven who waited in Hell." and reveals the origins of the band of seven. This radio drama, along with several others, are available in a transcript-type version on a blog called "Inu-drama" or something to that effect on Tumblr. And, although never mentioned, the Jakotsuto would require A LOT of work. According to the wiki: "requiring the disassembly of the sword so that each blade could be cleaned and polished separately. Then it would have to be reassembled and each pin connecting the blades would have to be oiled and tightened just-so to allow the smooth movements required to maintain control over the entire sword." The Jakotsuto has at least 50 blades, and it'd be very time-consuming. Fun fact about the music.. Namie Amuro actually covered the ending theme "Come". The original version (which is in English) is by Sophie Monk.
Kind of late but... check out The Slayers, Slayers NEXT, Slayers TRY and 2 more seasons.. It's has comedy, has a romantic element (though it's never acted upon or shown besides the end of one season)It's also about killing demons and monsters, has drama... it's awesome. It's pretty similiar to Inuyasha (although it's set in a medieval European style universe, not feudal Japan) and no one EVER suggests it to ppl who ask the question you did, which is weird to me. If you watch it let me know what you think 😊

Series 1: 8 endings + special ending in ep 166-167 (but it doesn't count because it is the same song of the first ending ), Series 2: 3 endings : with you, Diamond, The long road ahead. And again the last episode featured a recurring song - the final opening in full version. Am forgetting something? Also there's the insert song in ep 124 which returns if I remember correctly in final act at one ep. But it doesn't count as opening or ending of course.

Oh no as i said the visuals are the same but after Viz media lost the rights to Inuyasha for a while and then had to be bought back with the switch with Neon Alley A few Openings were changed (musically) the opening animation is all the same. Unfortunately there's no YT link but if you have a hulu subscription and can go on Hulu and watch the seasons they play on there to keep all the rights to the anime and be able to stream it in dub. Like thye just replace the music that would of been Change the world and a few others and just play Unare Tessaiga instead. :)

I am watching Ranma 1/2 right after I finished Inuyasha so this is all interesting to me

Now, here are some more interesting facts (particularly about the band of seven because I'm quite obsessed with them).
There are a few radio dramas for Inuyasha, which are audio-only episodes and only available in Japanese. One is titled "The Band of Seven who waited in Hell." and reveals the origins of the band of seven. This radio drama, along with several others, are available in a transcript-type version on a blog called "Inu-drama" or something to that effect on Tumblr.
And, although never mentioned, the Jakotsuto would require A LOT of work. According to the wiki:
"requiring the disassembly of the sword so that each blade could be cleaned and polished separately. Then it would have to be reassembled and each pin connecting the blades would have to be oiled and tightened just-so to allow the smooth movements required to maintain control over the entire sword."
The Jakotsuto has at least 50 blades, and it'd be very time-consuming.

Kind of late but... check out The Slayers, Slayers NEXT, Slayers TRY and 2 more seasons.. It's has comedy, has a romantic element (though it's never acted upon or shown besides the end of one season)It's also about killing demons and monsters, has drama... it's awesome. It's pretty similiar to Inuyasha (although it's set in a medieval European style universe, not feudal Japan) and no one EVER suggests it to ppl who ask the question you did, which is weird to me. If you watch it let me know what you think 😊

Oh no as i said the visuals are the same but after Viz media lost the rights to Inuyasha for a while and then had to be bought back with the switch with Neon Alley A few Openings were changed (musically) the opening animation is all the same. Unfortunately there's no YT link but if you have a hulu subscription and can go on Hulu and watch the seasons they play on there to keep all the rights to the anime and be able to stream it in dub.
Like thye just replace the music that would of been Change the world and a few others and just play Unare Tessaiga instead. :)

Ty so much it has been bothering me for a while because when i looked up Inuyasha season one opening all i found was Change the world with of course the opening scenes from season one also two but when i watch Inuyasha on netflix it has that song so i was getting annoyed.
Thry use like a storm because they lost the rights from avex to use the song after Viz almost lost the rights to Inuyasha so thats why it has like a storm instead of change the world.
