Would be good to have a video on teams like HRT, Caterham, and Manor on why they're no longer around and potentially the rise and fall of Force India to becoming Racing Point
@@okbutwhocares I imagine inheriting the infrastructure from Jordan and some of the staff helped. It's an edge they had over teams like HRT, Manor, and Caterham, which were all started from scratch.
When I was young I used to think drivers were the only important careers in Formula1, but later I learned that there's a whole bunch of super successful people who work in F1 they just might not be as famous as the drivers.
This whole "owning sports teams" thing sounds really cool. It's unfortunate that access to it is restricted to people who happen to be insanely wealthy, because I'd love to try my hand at it.
@The Racing Pilot If teams had the same amount of money then we would see who the best driver is.I mean could Hamilton win in a Williams car you think ???
Anything about f1 is out for me. I’m too old to start the path of a driver. I’m too broke to start a team. 🤣🤣🤣 I can buy beers and have a great Sunday while watching tho 😎👍🏼
The new concorde agreement makes it all but impossible for anyone baring manufacturers to enter F1. As when you look at Team lotus (collin Chapman's),March, Simtek, Jordan, Manor, Campos/HRT and EuroBrun to list a few former teams who all started out in lower categories such as F3, F3000, F2, sports cars , endurance racing and or suppliers/contractors to existing F1 team/projects. Where are the new teams going to come from? Or heaven forbid replace one that pulls out or fails
Ask Toto Wolff? I would have to pay a few hundred thousand euros just for that info of either starting or running an F1 team via Masterclass by Toto or something. Bro here gave the most simplified explanation of a complex setup, for free, right here on RUclips. 😅
Someone should try to do a few series of Crowdfunding rungs to get some outside investment. $1000K minimum. I bet a lot of F1 fans would pony up some cash.
They did have a very strong season though, but things have really unravelled since. I think Mazepin is gonna be their biggest problem in the next years. Even if they manage to get a good car, they have an unfirable driver that doesn’t seem to be close to the level of his competitors. Add to that that the kid is the biggest pr disaster in f1 history, and your prospects are really limited.
Given the gargantuan cost and task of starting a Formula 1 Team it's no wonder the Privateers end up in bankruptcy as the odds are against you from the very onset. I guess those privateers crazy enough to do it , do it out of love for the "Sport" and the Glamour and certainly not to make money because more likely than not : you will lose money and lots of it. The manufacturers do it for the publicity cum advertising value though the qualitative benefits as such are arguable. That said: Formula 1 is really not worth doing unless you're a "crazed billionaire" at the very least.
@@TheMotorMouthPodcast Im still confused on how the transfer works, do you HAVE to graduate from f2 or do you just take the “talent test” w the 300 laps and such
@@TheMotorMouthPodcast Hi, teams are not paing the shipping of cars, part, motorhomes and etc. So, This cost is not part of budget. Only the fly tickets and the accomodation of the personal. ✌️
Thumbs down for mentioning toto and lewis. Whom most f1 fans dislike hate and are frustated with their money made championships.unethival cheating ways and corrupting f1 and fia. So its a thumbs down
This video came at the perfect time because I was just looking to start my own F1 team this evening.
Can I have a 1000 dollars from that?
Yes yes, in Codemasters game
Hahaha always happy to help!
William Storey is that you?!
Can i get a gaming pc pls?
Looking at this video, now im impressed that Haas and Williams are still on the grid, struggling but you get the picture.....
It's also why the fia and liberty media try to help struggling teams out by finding them new sponsors are even a new owner.
Yeh they are really struggling
Ah... I now see why I failed starting my F1 team, didn’t have desks, chairs and drill bits. If only this came out last year 🤦🏻♂️
Hahaha not gonna work 😂
You forgot drill bits?
Forgeting screwdrivers is what did me in.
I clicked on this video even though I’m nowhere near purchasing a ticket to a race
Hahaha welcome to the club 😂
For $350 million, just buy a Premier League club. More profitable, more fun, easier to run. F1 is still awesome as all balls
Fair enough, but we love F1 😍
Right now,I was playing real racing 3 and this guy gave me a chance to appreciate it.
Haha exactly 😂
Love that game what team ur with 🤷🏾♂️

Glad you've found me! 🙌
Pay the teams a generous fee of 200 million too
Yep
How to start a F1 team.
Me : Ask from Vijay Mallya.
Don't ask him how to start an Airline.
Can also get advice on how to get imprisoned 😂

My f1 team is coming to grid soon in the near future
Looking forward to it 🙌
Bruce McLaren, Eddie Jordan, Gene Haas. I can't believe he forgot the late Alexander Redbull. A real motorsports pioneer if I remember correctly
Alexander Redbull? 😂😂😂
@@TheMotorMouthPodcast hahaha jk!
you need basically a billion dollars to start a team, thank you for this
Yes 😂😂
why spend 350 millions dollar to start a team when you can start one for 49,99 in codemaster f1 game
😂😂😂 true
Thank you for the video. See you all in the grid
Thanks for watching! 🙌
that pan when bankrupt was mentioned to the rear of the force india car
😬😬
I wish Haas made a documentary about their formation. Itd be soo cool.

Pretty much haha

Okay, this useful for my first team in Motorsport Manager

@@TheMotorMouthPodcast since the game was quite realistic, it's made my teams are midfielder, so yeah. Good info.
In Africa there isn't a F1, now I know why

Nice vid!
Thanks mate!
Thank you very much! I'm off to build my own F1 team now with mazepin and Maldonado driving
Looking forward to it!
You forgot the simulation center.
True, but that goes under capital equipment I guess 👍
funny, i always heard the joke "how do you make a small fortune in racing? ... you start with a large fortune!"

Thanks for the info

Absolutely 🙌
I was just thinking about starting my own team, but I think i'll have to save up for a few more years):
Yeh you might need quite a lot 😂
Yes I really would start and I won't care if it drains my pockets
It would be pretty awesome 😍
Does the Concorde agreement only apply to newly joining teams from this year on or are existing teams paying it too?
It applies to new team from my understanding 😁
Just for new teams 👍
You forgot to include 'chief cheerleader' xd
😂😂
Make video about Haas ferrari
Could do! 👍
Absolute colossala damage. Better be an sample inveetor in redbull or mercedes

That's a good point, I'd probably do the same 😂
How do you know all this information? Do you work in the F1 environment by any chance?👀
Its not like private info, just kinda basic knowledge in a quick video
No I don't actually 😂😂 I just do my research 👍
Realistically, you nwed about half a billion dollars to start and do two full seasons.

Very very good chances that you will lose money, the nature of F1 is that you either break even or make a loss
