Timely video for me today. I found three queeenless hives and I have mated queens coming in tomorrow. Hope yours and mine do well. One suggestion, I like to lay my mated queen on the top of the frames and watch the workers. If they try to sting or bite at her through the cage then I may have a problem like a unmated virgin running around. Have some more sunny days and smile.
I put a varroa board on the bottom to close it, and hit it on front entrance, and close it up. Works just fine. I will need to test this one and take supers off before.

I usually do too, but it slipped away when I got excited about piping hahaha. Seems like there is lots of swarming this year
Thank you for sharing. Loved hearing the queen piping.
It is special. I've heard it once before this. Thank you.
So glad you have a Queen!
Thank you very much.
Awesome
Thank you 😊
Yep, better today. Glad you had a queen. I have 2 cells where the virgin should emerge in a couple days.
Yeah weekend should be good then rain again lol
How's your flow? It's dead up here. It rained during blooms and looks like it's a horrible year. Everything is done blooming mostly.
Trees still blooming. Wild rose is blooming. Clover loves this rain.
What is your method for oxalic acid treatment in the HiveIQ?
