Funny, a few people there were maybe thinking that you're a spy, holding some sort of a scanning tool to survey and record the area. They probably have never heared or seen a vlogger and a foreigner live in person while doing the typical vlogging stuff anywhere in their city or province, that may look very unusual to them or very suspicious. Only a few foreign vloggers have gone there and make a vlog.
Among all those vloggers, I'm actually not surprised that you have been the bravest one. You didn't go there with any friend or travel companion, and you wandered around without any escort or guide, and you don't even have your own personal transport to get around easily or maybe to get away quickly.
I feel very safe in the city Keith and in two days I haven't seen another foreigner.

I got shot down by one of your avid trolls last time 😂 … I just joking about Zamboanga. It used to be one of the most feared locations. But it has mellowed a lot through the years. Some really remote areas might have former rebels- but it appears to be all good now. Glad you got to experience it.

@@rolanaguila3273 False... Zamboanga city is the 3rd largest city in the philippines in terms of land area, it has 98 barangays and the mnlf only manage to ravage 4 barangays before being stopped by the military and police.
@@deancafe4739 The number of barangays is irrelevant in the issue. The whole country and the world knew that Zamboanga was assaulted by MNLF.

I saw you on Sol and Luna tv. And I search your channel just to watch it. Btw sir, the way you ate the agar-agar and sati kinda the wrong way. You have to pair it with rice just to blend the taste. Overall I love the content.

You would need to be very careful about going to Sulu and have lots of contacts on the island.

I've spent almost two weeks in Zamboanga City and it seems safe to me.
It's more dangerous in metro manila than this city.. Crime rarely happens in that city, but in manila, there are always crime everyday.
It's not safe. I had a girl friend there. Her mom was stressed when me being there. She suggested us to see eachother in Cebu or Davao instead. Her intention were the best. I guarantee you. The challenge is the Abu Sayyaf aka Islamic State seeing not only Zamboanga but Mindanao as islamic. The regular muslim in Mindanao suffers from Abu Sayyaf too, I guess. At least muslims and christians lives peacefully side by side. At least one time when me being for weeks in Zamboanga, there were martial law.

The reason why you havnt seen another tourist is because zamboanga there is a danger spot for tourist. Kidnapping and ransom. But zamboanga city is safe. Look it up. You are a in danger there
