Back in the '70's, my first 2 vehicles were a '69 Chevelle SS396, followed by a '68 Impalla SS396. I got my Chevelle upon graduating high school & the red/black vinyl roof, black interior, Impala, the following year. Same colour combo, as this Chevelle. 🇨🇦
My first car when I got back from Nam 67-69 was also a SS-396 4-SPEED. It was sea mist green paid 3895.00 in cash all my combat pay. Was CWO 101ST.AA did 20yrs. good pension and great cash bonuses during renlistments. I am 70yrs.old now just retired as a unionized pipefitter and living life large.
This guy mentioned the gap in the passenger door but didn't say anything about the spot on the bottom of the passenger side door but besides that what a beautiful Chevelle car this is facts 😁👍
Hi, the tach was actually an option even on SS Chevelle's in '69, standard gauges were a speedo & gas gauge. Optional instrumentation was RPO U14 and cost roughly $95. Check out www.chevellestuff.net as it's THE site for all things Chevelle & El Camino. I wasn't sure about the tach question so looked it up there. If you're into Nova's like I am then www.novaresource.org is the go to site. Cheers.
Yeah I'm with you, I like my classics to have an their original factory motor, whether it be from the assembly line or a rebuild. A 454 in a 69 Chevelle SS is a no go for me.
Did that sell already if it didn't so let me know how much you asking for off you get another one let me know please thank you I'm also looking for 67 SS tow

Needs a 4 speed, gas gauge in my 68 always was near empty too.
It's a shame it doesn't have the original motor.
Allen Doss
Yeah, those 396’s are bad-ass motors too! My choice would be the
375 H.P. L78 version. :€)

Bring back 1970 please. Used prices are X10
Why windup windows and left rear electric window?
Vintage cars are great for 2 days the day you buy them and the day you sell them. They are money pits.

It has been sold. Keep an eye on our website coyoteclassics.com
