Terribly HILARIOUS. And the heart warming scene of his wife distributing the vegetables and showing act of kindness and charity to the elderly neighbours (1:07:48).
I kept watching this drama and is not tired of watching it again. This China drama is among the BEST. Heart Warming and Hilarious. With purity, innocence and romance. Excellent storyline with great Casts and Crew. This drama has class. Unlike other China drama that are filled with distasteful bickering and showing off of wealth where entourage of luxury cars with people bowing down which showed no class. In this drama, a real person with power and wealth does not need to show off his wealth and usually get his work done discretely without anyone knowing it - that is real class.
I've watched this drama many times and no doubt will be watching again. It's a brilliant production. No violence or cruelty, a feel good film. This couple are great together. I've seen other dramas where they are paired with different actors, but the funny parts are missing. In real life, the male lead (Xian Jiachen / Xian Jia Chen)) is a director and also a screen writer. They appear in supporting roles but not as a couple in some of the dramas directed by Xian Jiachen / Xian Jia Chen).
This D drama have a good storyline I reckon. His grandmother is supportive of their relationship. Chemistry with leads also good too. I really like this drama of theirs. I have tried one of their other drama together, the other one of theirs have too much scheming for my liking. And I perfer male lead without his glasses. Haha. I have a few more of their drama line up to watch. Can't wait.

11:45 Here is the thing i dont understand about these Chinese mini dramas or Chinese culture depicted in these dramas: Are there no laws against physical abuse or assault by employers or those in management positions? I see people being bullied, ganged upon, slapped left right and center without consequence. Is China really that uncivilised in terms of culture and laws? Im using uncivilised, to include the culture of forced drinking during work gatherings, the constant drugging, rampant unconsensual sex, so on and so forth. Im just so fed up of seeing these themes constantly depicted in dramas as if they're the central elements of Chinese culture. It makes me look at Chinese p3ople in real life a certain way. I've never come across a comment from a Chinese speaking against such depictions. A few depictions here and there are harmless, but when they form the basis of most of the content, its worrisome.
