I’d really like it if we had a game like risk of rain for vr, so this mod is pretty good. I hope they add be support in some way, because it really seems fun
Haha it's the Curb your Enthusiasm theme, that mod always gets me because I'll get into a long multi loop run and completely forget about it till I die and it's the icing on the cake of my death xD
imo I think it would have been more fun to play the normal game mode and not on the hardest difficulty, You have no room to make distance from the enemies which is needed especially in First person View
@@space_goat_v1337 I'm so used to playing on eclipse (level 5, currently) and it's always such a breath of fresh air when I get to play loader and completely ignore the doubled lethal fall damage. That's why when I saw you take fall damage as loader, I was like "wait, that's illegal." Figured it had to be some sort of mod. I tried the VR mod once and I should try it again now that I've gotten considerably better at the game. It just feels nice to do something fresh after doing hundreds of runs. The game can get stale after a while if I don't find ways to shake it up.

Missed opportunity. VR has a stigma against 3rd person gaming. You might have helped alleviate it a bit by showing both instead of just defaulting to make everything in VR 1st person shooters Ive yet to try the vr mod for this though, so maybe you have no option for it. Which is kind of sad and why VR will just never "get there". Does the mod still offer 3rd person gamepad VR?
You can switch from first to 3rd, it just doesn't have motion control support for the latter so you HAVE to use gamepad/kb+m if you want to do it. I'm not sure my goal with this video was to alleviate the stigma towards 3rd person view VR games but rather to see if it was fun for me still with a radical change to the formula (since the base game is 3rd person). However if you are interested in supporting people showcasing 3rd person VR games I've covered some of them in my other videos.
This game is a blast to play in 3rd person with Custom characters. You can even still use your VR controller, it just that it head aiming. Highly recommend melee character for TPS.

I'll say this. Bandit was my personal favorite to play in VR. Shotgun blasts are so much fun, and the revolver makes you fell so badass.
You know I never gave him a chance because I don't play him often on flat. I'll have to give him a go
5/5 ending, we need to get you into the windlands if you like the grapple gameplay in VR.
I've always wanted to try that but IDK why I haven't yet, I may have to grab it on a sale

Why did you take fall dmg as loader? That's not supposed to happen.
I figured it out, it was HIFU'S Loader tweaks, he nerfs it from 100% fall damage to 60%

give another shot with the simulacrum rework mod by nuxlar, it's pretty fun
I'm actually using that mod (you can kinda see the printers sometimes), it's def my preferred way to play Simulacrum
