I had a similar experience when the priest lifted up the host at mass the priest left and a monstrant came and instead in the middle where the host usually is was the face of Jesus he had black hair to his shoulder and a slim young face. I have had other encounters and since last May I was consecrated into the divine will. Someone had a picture of Jesus stitching hisheart to mine.. I love you Jesus forever and ever as long as I live as I have seen you face to face 2years ago. I am nothing God is all. Amen.
He can persuade you that you have to do something out of obedience or humility and you would sincerely believe that you are acting according to true inspiration. That's from my bitter experience. That's why we need a confessor or spiritual director and pray hard for God to give them light
