I love the art and can relate to the story big time. I was always the call out kind of person in high school once information got to me. People tend to back pedal very quick when you ask them about the drama they try to start, in front of those they gossip to.
I find people have this missconception that shy people are like, sweet, quiet, a bit awkward but good spirited. Don't get me wrong a lot of them are but through life I've tried to get to know "the shy kid" in school or at work only to find out they're an absolute dick.
ok first of all, i LOVE how yu did the nose in this piece. secondly, in regards to the story, well, there really isn't much to say other than some people are willing to do all kinds of stuff to make themselves more likeable. there isn't anything to do about it, it's just what happens, as you said, people are gonna talk shit anyway so. let them talk.

I would have paid some serious bucks to be a fly on that wall just to see that little girl’s face!!!! I HOPE she learned that day to watch what she says around other people because you never know who’s listening ready to rip you a new one. Valuable life lesson right there if you ask me lol. What baffles me though is her audacity to call you out like that when all you’ve done for her was go out of you way to make sure the kid got home safely. That’s what blows my mind. I know you can’t please everyone but damn. That’s one hell of a jump to make on someone who did nothing but help you.
Looking back at the time frame before you knew who had said that, can you recall of any interaction you might've had with her. Maybe a time when you could've casually greeted her with a "hello" or maybe just a friendly acknowledging smile while passing each other through the halls?
Sometimes the only difference between those of us that understand and, well, the ones who haven't yet, is that they haven't learned from their mistakes sadly.
Dear Emily, You seem like such a tough girl! Your art is absolutely amazing you have inspired me to start doing art,I'm not the greatest at the moment but I'm improving! I really love your videos I hope you don't stop doing art, I was wondering if you could do some art tips and tutorials for beginners, I really like your art style! -xoxo Mikayla 💗
Something once happened to me that is PROOF that bullies get what they deserve. So in seventh grade, I was bullied a lot. Once, after an incident where my watch was stolen by the group of girls who bullied me (it went missing and was later found n one of their backpacks) I went to the main office and filled out a report form. Unfortunately for me, the main office notified these girls that I had reported them. The next day, one of the girls walked up to me, said "Snitches are b****es." and slapped me backhand across the face. However, I was wearing glasses. So while I had a sore spot on my face that faded after a few minutes, she had a cut on one of her knuckles that probably hurt for the rest of the day.
When I was in middle school this boy told people that I hat basically had sex with all of the sports teams at our school. When I asked him why he said "so they would believe you slept with me." I was a virgin at the time.
Girl that was a killer self portrait!! By the way, you seem like an awesome person. I know this didn't happen recently, but I'm sorry this chick got you down at some point. You're awesome, keep your chin up!
I am thin and I have black eyes but I always was a target. It's really not about stereotypes. It's either someone is good to (all or some) people or bad and against them.
I’m so glad that there is an amazing artist that also does/did drama. I’m doing drama and I ‘can’ draw. I say can but it isn’t as awesome as yours. I wanna be like you but also learn from you like you say we should. (If that makes sense).
In the 6th grade this girl kept punching me in the back of the head during class. I told the teacher, but since my teacher despised me she said I probably deserved it and let her keep doing it. After class she continued to do it so I turned around and punched her in the face. Should I have done that? No, but she then stopped and asked me the next day if I wanted to be friends. I only agreed so she wouldn't try that shit again. Side note, the teacher's sister was a drama teacher who despised me too and this bitch was crazy as fuck.
In my first play ( Bullies Anonymous) I played a guidance counselor and got to yell at all the other characters. I had so much fun in the role and have been in either drama club or theater class. I have decided though that I love stage crew the most.
I feel that prepping the new group stuff I was/ still am kinda in that prep stage and all of my closest friends in the group happen to be the seniors who are leaving in like 11 days for me
You are my new favorite youtuber! I binge watch and love every single one of your videos! I NEVER watch storytime videos but i watch every single one. Omg, I can relate. I always say yes when somebody asks something of me. Often I get used in the end or hurt in someway. But I can't help myself..... so I just gave into the fact that I'm a giver and I'll just have to try harder in the future not to get used and if I do get taken advantage of.... I try to remember that I chose to do it and it is partially my fault.

Looking back at the time frame before you knew who had said that, can you recall of any interaction you might've had with her. Maybe a time when you could've casually greeted her with a "hello" or maybe just a friendly acknowledging smile while passing each other through the halls?
An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.... I need to remember this.
Sometimes the only difference between those of us that understand and, well, the ones who haven't yet, is that they haven't learned from their mistakes sadly.
I’m so happy I found your channel, your so inspiring!
i love how your intro is always unique each time
Dear Emily,
You seem like such a tough girl!
I want this picture on a shirt. And a giant poster of it. This is my favorite one of your pieces!
Your sketchbook story times are my absolute favorite
"An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind" I legit heard that in Detroit become human earlier today
When I was in middle school this boy told people that I hat basically had sex with all of the sports teams at our school. When I asked him why he said "so they would believe you slept with me." I was a virgin at the time.
These sketch book story times are so inspiring ❤️❤️❤️
Wow that picture is stunning!
Girl that was a killer self portrait!!
By the way, you seem like an awesome person. I know this didn't happen recently, but I'm sorry this chick got you down at some point. You're awesome, keep your chin up!
I wish these could be longer!
"She likes anime that she is anime"
Me:Lol I'm weaboo too XD
I'm chubby and a " loner " I've been bullied so I understand
Edit: DONE'T TRUST THE BLACK EYED CHILDREN
its ok if ur chubby or a loner btw everyones difrent
I am thin and I have black eyes but I always was a target. It's really not about stereotypes. It's either someone is good to (all or some) people or bad and against them.
So because I have black eyes I cannot be trusted? Tell that to my friends I guess they shouldn’t trust me now.
-ѕσdα- pσp-, no it’s a different thing, I was talking about the supernatural black eyed children, sorry for the confusion
Girl you sound like the mom from The Incredibles and I love it
I’m so glad that there is an amazing artist that also does/did drama. I’m doing drama and I ‘can’ draw. I say can but it isn’t as awesome as yours. I wanna be like you but also learn from you like you say we should. (If that makes sense).
4:44 *I couldn't get enough of weenies*
I couldn't hold it in! It was too much, just the way she said it was funny😂
I love your art Emily💞
OH MY GOD 😍😍 SHE'S SO GORGEOUS

You are my new favorite youtuber! I binge watch and love every single one of your videos! I NEVER watch storytime videos but i watch every single one. I feel like 👍 someone as trusting as i am without biterness! I have had many of these kinds of problems before and appreciate the life advice from Emily Artful! Lol
Omg, I can relate. I always say yes when somebody asks something of me. Often I get used in the end or hurt in someway. But I can't help myself..... so I just gave into the fact that I'm a giver and I'll just have to try harder in the future not to get used and if I do get taken advantage of.... I try to remember that I chose to do it and it is partially my fault.
you paint so beautifully
A saying I head from Jammidodger about the fact that people have the right to say what they want but they have to be ready to face consequences from other people is "Freedom of speech is not freedom of consequence." I just really like that quote and though I'd share it with you guys.
