hopefully I'll smell this one one day! Interesting that you get a connection to B&B. Do you feel it is the same/similar to the base oud of Zhen also?
No not as much Oud Zhen but definitely B&B but this one feels smoother and silkier on the dry down! Oud Zhen is smokier with a big Amber body !
I haven't tried this but I have Fragrance du Bois Borneo Oud, which is a marvellous Cambodian style pure oud in an alcohol spray format - amazing depth and complexity, like scotch whiskey with floral and chocolate nuances along with petroleum. Almost too unique to mix with other fragrances so best used on its own.

And you're right about the attars - I have 4 of the Xerjoff XJ Attars and they are magnificent but the oil delivery muffles it somewhat. Which is why Borneo Oud is so great, and evidently Pure Indian Oud.

Does his Indian oud release have any resemblance to FM the night? I bought the Indonesian oud and it reminds me of antique furniture or a wooden cabin.
No the only tho g they have in common a bit is just the Oud but this one is straight up Indian Oud. Has nothing mixed in it. The night has other notes like saffron and rose which changes the smell
@@rvmvadati thanks for the quick response. If you’re interested, try to get your hands on a king blue sample from Amouage.It’s supposedly 35% oils with indian oud. Interested to hear your thoughts.

@@rvmvadati A few people have said it smells like skunky oud so I'm considering buying it since I like oud that smells like donkey butt
I was able to try Chinese oud & Indian oud from this collection and I must say it was quite an experience. I enjoyed Indian oud so very much that I want to get another bottle. Weirdly, I found Chinese oud more challenging & barnyardy. Never expected that.
