      But he took a bribe got a 6 month ban and the other ref took a bribe and got 2 year in prison same offence but got rewarded for saving his own skin.

    Now that England have won, will they still question Zwayer? Find it astonishing how a referee who has taken a bribe is anywhere near such a high stakes tournament.     There's one thing I find difficult to understand about it all: he allegedly took a 300€ bribe. Why would anyone risk his career for 300€? Plus, he was one of the people who, to my understanding, went to the German Football Association and exposed the whole thing.

    Ultimately it was the VAR who was equally responsible for what happened Wednesday night (not seeing Saka handball, calling the ref to the screen for something subjective that he already had interpreted, not calling the ippom by rice on Ake in the box). Not Zwayer but UEFA fixed it

    Bellingham and Zwayer have a history together
    Even though mentioning the Match fixing scandal was out of order Bellingham wasn't wrong in that paticular Game between Dortmund and Bayern
    All of Zwayers big class in that Game were wrong and favored Bayern

    In the match against Romania, the same referee favored the Dutch team by not awarding a penalty to Romania, not giving a red card to a Dutch player, and interrupting an attack when Romania had a chance to score at 0-1. This time, however, karma seemed to turn against the Netherlands.

      @@PL-qv5te mate, that is not match fixing. he was meant to try and win those games regardless. match fixing would be betting on your team to lose and then intentionally missing shots or scoring own goals, or betting on yellow cards for yourself and then intentionally fouling someone.
