When the guards are made from ''virgin'' plastic they are harder. On the other hand guards that are not so hard are made from recycled plastic.

For the amount of money we pay for these trimmers I just be pissed that we have to do adjusting, sharpening and modifying. My gold Jrl trimmers are adjusted right and I still can’t get them to hit right. Shit is tragic!
