    When I built my picket fence I bought corner bubble levels. As I built it on my own those made the job a little easier

    Just saying - I watch other channels ( not gonna mention by name.) But your the only one that I have seen doing building by yourself. Much respect, this is why i follow you. Cause half the time I have to work on my own. And you show me that I can do it. Good job!

    I bought a good book by a "Professional" carpenter. Its called "Working Alone". Pretty good book. Lots of hints and tricks to prevent boards from falling on you.

    Build yourself a "supply yard". Large covered area for lumber, gravel, etc. Buy extra wood for EVERY PROJECT you do (you always a few pieces shy, Jason!)!
    This will save you trips to the store and will allow you to complete smaller tasks having the needed supplies on hand. After a couple of years you'll have a nice surplus of lumber, metal roofing, fencing posts, concrete, etc.

      Use truck/trailer to put wood in place. Don't carry. Work smarter not harder.

      Fyi. You should use treated posts with coal tar epoxy on the bottom.. the concrete retains water and the poles will rot after a couple years.. if your going to use those walimised poles you should just pack them in rocks this way the water will drain..

    You are doing amazing work on that barn! I worry about you building by yourself, but trust that you know your limits. The barn will be so nice for your critters and they will be safe and warm.     Some people just don't get it , when your building a ranch , some things half 2 b put on hold to build other things in order to take care of the bones of a ranch , and when your doing this task with only one person at times ......... ......
    I'm retired and n my 60's and youngest of 6 siblings so I know what it's like to do things on your own with help from your other half ..... times like this help you build character , especially when you're taking on a task that your not that knowledge in , in comes RUclips to guide you in the proper ways of building (didn't have that n my younger yrs) 😀 ......

    Jason, you really are amazing. To put that structure up by YOURSELF is mind boggling. You definitely have a carpentry gift. I tell my son, who has Aspergers, that you may have it, but it doesn’t own you. You work with it. To know you have a glitch and not make excuses is admirable. Keep on Jason.     Jason thought I would leave a suggestion because your working alone try to use the tractor as your helper those 6x6 post look heavey just think out side the box use bucket of tractor as your helper it would be safer for you and not tare your body up carrying that wood PLEASE TAKE THIS AS A GOOD COMMENT JUST THINKING OF YOUR SAFTY LOVE THE BUILD GOD BLESS
