From disc 1 "Sart" (Norway, 1971) of 3 CD box "Dansere". The members; Jan Garbarek (sax), Terje Rypdal (g), Bobo Stenson (p), Arild Andersen (b) and Jon Christensen (ds).
It's a pity that this band did not stay together for all that long. They are all great musicians with a lot of interesting and original musical ideas. Jan Garbarek was very daring in his early career but, unlike the others in this band, seems to have got into a bit of a rut albeit a very technically accomplished rut. A most interesting upload;
