What i think seperstes them is the fact Ridge has a lifetime warranty. Not only that, but amazon frequently has Ridge Wallets on sale for as low as $60-$70.
I just picked up a knockoff for $6 on amazon. I'm still getting used to the shift from a standard bi-fold, but comparing this to everything else I'm seeing, it's the same thing. I'm wondering what they could possibly offer me that's worth the extra $94.
I have a Ridge wallet and the key holder for a few years. Ridge has top notch customer service and you can buy replacement parts for cheap when the elastic gets fuzzy or stretched. You get what you pay for.
I just bought a knockoff on Amazon for $6.90 and it came with a screw driver and extra screws. I don’t think customer service can compete with that. And as the other replies mentioned, just buy a new knockoff and have it delivered the next morning for $6.90. There is so much wrong about the Ridge pricing IMO
I bought a Ridge with the elastic strap on it (instead of the clip) many years ago and it has been nice. It began getting some cracks though. I bought a generic carbon fiber one with the clip off Facebook Market place a couple years ago....they are both similar in quality. Love these both over a traditional wallet in back pocket.
We're going to grab a few and see if we can etch stuff into them 🤔 . Personally I use the three card holder that can magnet on to the back of my iPhone.
If the knock off works then go with it. If you need to fix it, buy a new one in 2 to 3 years and still cheaper than ridge. I can buy about 4 for the price of one ridge. People that love status symbols or just love giving their money way would buy a ridge
I’ve had the Ridge for a few years now. It has been holding up well. I have the elastic cash strap as well thus far the elastic has been holding up well. Lifetime warranty and some Rigid products are made stateside now.
I still carry a actual wallet because I do not have credit cards I use cash cash is hell lot safer from getting your identity stolen or getting into your bank account or checking account and with cash no need to worry about debt either so I have no interest to change. Cash is still the safest way just a fact.

This is true. I lost the crew on my key holder and emailed Ridge about purchasing a replacement screw. They just sent me a new key holder. 😮
I can buy a whole new "knock off" vs repair parts if I needed to repair it. It's just a money grab.
