*Paulie knew the old tricks when it comes to being interrogated...if they are asking YOU questions and not taking action whether it's the police or anybody else then unless you say something they HAVE NOTHING...*
Hey Paulie made it through the 70's by the skin of his bawls, after this scene he will have made it through another war.. Maybe he's one of the more intelligent characters on the show, and everyone read him wrong...he 2 out of 2.
I think it was simply that Paulie was not an easy kill. He wasn't weak like Christopher in Tony's mind. There would have absolutely been a fight and not a guaranteed success. On top of this, no clear alliby. His crew knew Christopher was a loose cannon but Beansie backing Paulie kinda showed Tony that his crew would probably ask more questions if he did that on his own. So I think he knew it'd be a questionable move long term and him not cracking here confirmed that thought
I would think Tony would rather have a guy who was totally honest with him than someone who would lie. How does this prove that Paulie would not crack to the FBI under pressure? Paulie had no choice BUT to lie to Tony, knowing if he was honest, he would be killed. PLUS: Paulie did CRACK... he rat-ted the out the glorified crew to Johnny Sacks by telling him about the joke.
I don't know.... A co-worker of mine laughs after almost everything he says.... like he's his own personal laugh track. A good friend laughs at very inappropriate times while watching TV.... both are pretty annoying.
Tony has had multiple examples of people with Richie's revolt, Junior's dementia, the animal, Feech the garden hunter and Mr I dident. But Paulie Walnuts wouldn't crack.
Forget everyone! Ginny Sac was the most dangerous character on the show! When she passed out and fell if it weren't for those girls Ginny would have flipped New Jersey over killing MILLIONS! 😅
@@jamesmorant1406 Exactly what any other disloyal person who hasn't been caught would do in the exact same position. If Johnny Sac gave him up at the sit-down with Tony, Carmine, and Uncle Junior, his life would have been flushed down the pishadoo...
Silvio was way more loyal to Tony than Paulie was. Silvio only stepped out of line on minor things once, maybe twice. Paulie's sucking up to Johnny Sack behind Tony's back basically caused the war with NY.

On the topic of Tony's victims, I got an ad for Gladiator 2 on this vid. Think Ralph's in hell being forced to see it on repeat?
Ralphie reclaiming Rome… whatever happened there smh
lol it wasn’t that bad. But now that I think about it.. it was forgettable
Tony Knew He Still Needed Paulie Being That The Soprano Crew Was Losing Money,Prospects & Soldiers.
Paulie showing a little bit of brains here

The whole Ginny Sack thing...whatever happened there.
She tipped it ova
Whatever happened there?!
Something about a very large mole.
I never got the joke?
The fat joke, God rest Ginny's fat ass's soul.

That Beansie was a stand up guy.
The rat angle is one I didn't think of. If Paulie cracks here, the feds will crack him, too.

Tony didn’t whack Paulie because of the implication
Paulie doesn’t just slap stuff together in the kitchen. Rigatoni ala Paulie scene always gets me hungry.
Pauline was a survivor. He said he survived the Colombo wars by the skin of his teeth. Tony didn’t survive.
*Skin of his shinebox
I hated when Tony made fun of Paulie's nervous laughing tick. It's good to have humorous friends.

Paulie did-dent
I often think about this scene. Great video
You just had to bring up Ginny.... very disrespectful.
This was one of the best parody shows 😂
If there isn't actual proof never admit anything.
I would have been killed by Tony...i would have figured, i should be honest with my best friend, lol.
Really good video, my friend. Well done!
If I was in the mob I'd avoid boats and basements. It's seems like commonsense.

😅
About time we sent you to slip and fall school …
Tony wanted it one way...but it's the other way.
Alla Tony! Eh eh
0:58 😂
Tony was a terrible boss he killed more of his own men than New York did, and Paulie was his most loyal soldier till the very end
Paulie was disloyal af!
@AdamWolfgangSnow I know he thought about joining New York but when he found out Johnny Sack was playing him he went back to Tony
