Which version of illustrator did you use SIr?
I'm using Adobe Illustrator CS6 and my shape builder tool
is always in straight line and I cannot draw in free way.
I tried to fix this issue by double-clicking the shape builder tool and
there is no option to change to be able to draw in free way.
