As compared to other religions and ideologies, Sikh way of life never demanded any sacrifices (like Judaism and Islam), did not go into idolatry (like Christianity and other), did not call for aggression and conquest - solely for self-defense... The Sikh teaching, like the Buddhist, Zoroastrian and Sufi, are perhaps the only acceptable for all humanity, because they are tolerant and don't lead a person astray from the natural path. A KEY to remaining cognitively well, and who knows? Maybe even staving off Alzheimer's altogether. Definitely worth exploring...thanks for this post. I don't have words to explain how I felt while listening to this divine music. One key takeaway is that I tried to put myself and think about the pain Shri Guru Govind Ji would have felt after getting to know about the news of his beloved sons and Arjun's dilemma to fight with his family members, and it isn't for the faint-hearted people. I am shaken to the core. I am at the very beginning stage of reading Bhagavad Gita ji, I think I can grasp the universal message shared by Shri Krishna in a much better way now. I don't have words to explain how I felt while listening to this divine music. One key takeaway is that I tried to put myself and think about the pain Shri Guru Govind Ji would have felt after getting to know about the news of his beloved sons and Arjun's dilemma to fight with his family members, and it isn't for the faint-hearted people. I am shaken to the core. I am at the very beginning stage of reading Bhagavad Gita ji, I think I can grasp the universal message shared by Shri Krishna in a much better way now.
