Stories like this is common in Laos too, those who live in villages, looking for work, struggling to make ends meet let alone afford medicine or surgery. My family gives money to relatives in Laos because they can barely support themselves. It's stories like these that hits me harder because my relatives could be struggling just like this. The commercial really conveys the struggles of my fellow Asians back in Asia, it makes me sad yet grateful for being born in America.
Real life in Thailand, some people are even more. Because some people never get anything until the end of their lives. Born to live the same life, it's so sad. But can't live like a normal person.
