Bloodborne is basically just about a town that is plagued by beasts and evil blood that corrupts people into monsters, we just play as a simple hunter to take down the beasts. The game leans heavily into eldritch and cosmic horror.
LOL Hope that was a good thing. Editor Hubby and I are dorks of the highest order and quite fond of our Geeky intros. he works so hard just for me to wrinkle my nose at some. Poor guy.

Oh. Well, look what kinda classics I find if I just scroll down a little bit in your uploads... If you're interested in more JT tracks, may I recommend their Little Nightmares songs, "Hungry For Another One" and "Nightmares Never End"? (And, again, Miracle of Sound's and Aviator's Bloodborne songs are just sheer excellence if you want to look at more stuff like this.) I think Imma keep scrolling. See if I find any other interesting things you've reacted to. ^^
The basics of it are that you wake up in Yharnam, a land taken over by a plague brought on by the leading church's hubris when they discovered a blood that "healed" people, but after a while, it turned people into monsters. That's where hunters come in, an organization that hunts people they deem as sick, while they themselves are also sick. So when you arrive, things are bad. You explore, fight things, and the story then dives into eldritch horror territory when you discover the church was trying to birth their god by abusing women, creating lots of incomplete gods. You kill those, and then two main endings happen: 1. you get killed, or 2. you kill god and become a baby god. So yea the story is VERY weird and hard to understand until you play the game
@@angeltalion Well, since they never gave you the story, I will try and understand I’m using speak to text so it may be weird . Anyways, about 60 years ago in the blood-borne universe scholars had found out about creatures called the great ones in dungeons underneath yarnhem which is where the game takes place. Called the chalice dungeons they found blood of the great ones which heals any and all wounds poison even replacing limbs so much blood they started selling it, and the people made a religion around it the blood church. But after so long people had been drinking so much blood started to transform into beasts like monsters werewolves, werewolf, human centipede things, etc. it goes on. The church conscripts people to fight. These monsters called the hunters. The black robbed hunters were known for being ruthless hunters that would kill, kill anyone, and everyone that showed signs of becoming a monster. The white robbed was known for kind and generous towards its civilians. at least more than the black robe ones each night they would go out on a hunt to kill Beasts and the civilians. Mostly men would go out and help at the request of the church, but the church requested this so they can keep an eye on people. The fellow hunters of these, these people would have no problems with killing you, if you showed any signs of being a beast. Eventually, the church fell because there were so many beasts now there’s no humans left in Yarnhem. Very few hunters. And the ones that are still alive have gone mad from the blood and being obsessed with getting more blood even going as far as to kill people to drink their own blood. We could see this with father Gascoigne as he killed his wife. Eventually your character kills all the bosses and he could find something called a 1/3 of an umbilical cord, which if he consumes three of he can transcend to become a god to stop these Eldridge horrors from destroying his world. He consumes only one 1/3 of an umbilical cord. He becomes the leader of the dream.(the dream is where hunters who have been newly conscripted to fight the beasts, get their weapons, their levels, and meet Garman, which was the original hunter, but he went insane and yeah) or you could give up your life to Garman and you will before the hunts even began not knowing the hunt will become a thing and you will suffer the same fate as everyone else. The. Pthumarians were an ancient race of people who went missing found in the challis dungeons. They all turned to beasts and the ones that were still able to keep their mind intact. Send it to God hood. That’s what happens to your race when playing through the game. that’s the short version of the story. At least there’s a lot missing so.

I can understand why it's a really great song all on it's own. A really great listen just in the background. I could easily see myself writing to it.
Bloodborne is basically you squaring up against lovecraftian monsters.
