Well, it is a movie trailer produced independently by a filmmaker for the sole purpose of illustrating the concept, style, and theme of an upcoming feature film. Put simply, I use pitch trailers to illustrate what I would like to see in an unreleased movie. Sometimes these are franchise movies deep in production, and other times they are movies that Hollywood will probably never make.

Some people speculate and discuss what they want to see in upcoming movies, we do this visually using the pitch trailer format. Our favorite green ogre, #Shrek, debuted back in 2001 and has since touched hearts across the globe, amassing over $450 million at the box office and sparking numerous spin-offs and three additional movies. Despite "Shrek Forever After" (2010) supposedly bidding farewell to our cherished character, the eager anticipation for Shrek's return has never waned. Now, the swamp is buzzing with the promise of another grand adventure!
As of April 2023, a concrete release date for #Shrek5 remains elusive. Originally scheduled for 2020 as per Eddie Murphy's claim, the movie's update has been awaited with bated breath. Chris Meledandri, CEO of Illumination, confirmed a fifth film featuring the original cast is underway, but production and release timelines are still under wraps.
The cast for Shrek 5 is yet to be officially announced by DreamWorks. However, indications strongly suggest the return of the original voice cast, featuring Mike Meyers as Shrek, Eddie Murphy as Donkey, Cameron Diaz as Princess Fiona, and Antonio Banderas as Puss in Boots. Eddie Murphy's recent expression of willingness to return as Donkey fuels this speculation.
