Also can you crystalized the pickle, add the mega seed to the crystal pickel, then add the mace, then add all that to a growth hormone to see if what I wanted to happen will happen?

I think there's a second Mega seed if you're on the last story disk, rather than jumping right into free play. You combine the Mega Seed with the alien in a jar (which you can't get in free mode) to get an Omega Seed. I'm pretty sure the original seed does still stick around.
