That's just marketing. OOTP has been saying that every year for the last 10 years, too. I get the impression that the trade logic in the game is getting worse every year.

@MutedGrowl lol no 2010 its definitely different from 26 so you might need glasses or you most likely never played 2010 and i think its way better then 26.
They discussed how they changed the hitting engine 8 years ago in the live show. DD was barely a game mode 10 years ago. You're engaging in hyperbole.
I want them to add some small fun details like a super rare broken bat homer animation (pretty much just an extremely rare visual replacement for less crushed homers), and maybe like the pitchers hat falling off on very rare occasion when throwing absolute gas. It could make the gameplay feel a little more alive if there’s casual rarities to look out for and it’d be fun when you get them to happen every once in a while, also provides another opportunity for more unique commentary by the announcers who for the most part are just repeating themselves all game long anyway

It was great to play at Target Field when you set the weather to overcast/cloudy before the game. Of course, that meant you could never play on a beautiful sunny day, but you could play.
@Zerks21 As a twins fan i feel your pain. I always just got used to it but basically the first 2-3 innings of summer night games are just a waiting game until the batters eye is in the shade.

Need major improvements to batted ball physics. The absence of top spin is really a bummer for line drives. They just float to the outfielder instead of getting down.

The setting for pci not to snap back to center and the sensitivity will make me a lot better. Those were my biggest issues. Been asking for both for years tweeted both at the company 900 times lol
Yes thats massive it'll keep so many of us from slamming our pci. Pitches down the middle might not be the best pitch in the game now. Not easy leaving the pci dead center lol

If they shrink the pci for away sliders for same side hitting as pitching, make it extremely hard to dot the away slider so that it hangs more often so that the pitch won't be spammed all the time
Should only shrink on pitches located outside the strike zone imo

The H/9 and k/9 split into left and right is also going to make switch hitters even more overpowered.
Also not fixing the ridiculous pci shrinkage by of outside sliders on same handedness

Nobody gets upset at someone for doing whenever youre seeing a new pitcher for the first time or two, its just the people that would repeatedly spam it for 9 innings forcing you to wait like 10 seconds everytime before you pitched

Might be finally able to enjoy online this year with R2 clowns getting patched! Just need to know if catchers can actually catch the ball finally! So tired of the dropped third strike and passed ball bullshit everytime my matchup has a runner on base!🙄😡🤬

They need to add where you don’t have to invite your friend after every co-op ranked game!! It’s the most annoying thing when you get done with a game and have to re invite put your lineup in like come on.

Excellent breakdown, thank you for not ignoring the graphic issue . I do appreciate the ratings, the field of depth. I’m a sim franchise guy so the other things not very important. My other issue is sound ? If you play Pro Spirits the stadiums are alive , it doesn’t sound like muted . I think if they overhauled that alone ? Would distract from the graphics a bit

Actually, there are some changes that look very interesting.
Jokes on you this was video from the show 16!!! They should just pull a gta and just put out dlc’s since nothing looks different. Yea there is some new things but they aren’t new game worthy. I’m definitely going to still buy it because I love baseball and this game and it’s horrid, it just sucks we are 5 years on ps5 and the graphics look like ps3 ones 😢.
@davemacri9171 It's been that way for a while now unfortunately. I feel like they release 1 new game once a decade and every other year is just a roster update. We still haven't had anything that has brought them into the next console gen. Graphics are still early PS4 era. But at least we get the Tokyo Dome, lol.

Pci sensitivity looks cool. As it was too sensitive when you did not have the ring to put on the stick. The hitting feature that blurs out the background is nice too, but kind of far away from reality even when wearing special sun glasses irl. But I still wonder if these additions warrant a price of a brand new game...
The ability to change the contrast of the background when you’re batting is a good feature. One time I was playing as a twins in a franchise and so many times I didn’t get any good hits is during the day games in an early innings due to the sunlight, reflecting off the ball, making it impossible to see. When it was like that I wasn’t able to get good hits until later in the game. I’m so glad they added that feature.

They need to adjust the online pause time. Pausing three times in a row in less than 5 seconds and not getting any consequence is so goofy. Either you lose significant clock time or it’s like madden where if a player purposely leaves the game paused or constantly pauses, they will eventually be penalized with delay of game calls, leading to a disconnection.

If I can’t have 2 different stances on a switch hitter for RTTS I will not buy. I have wanted this for years. Surely it can’t be too hard to implement that.

I don’t understand why they won’t get rid of the pci shrinkage. They tried so hard in their stream to justify the decision and it just came off as it’s working as intended. Ok so I ambush outside but my opponent is pitching inside now I get shrinkage on those pitches too. Terrible decision on their end especially since the player base has been wanting that gone

With the challenge pitches being offline only, does that apply to only offline game modes? Or can you challenge pitches in conquest and things like that?
I've been pushing for a PCI sensitivity kind of deal for years. The biggest flaw in this game was it was near impossible to hit anything in between the middle and extremes especially at high difficulties. We will see how it works.

If you want to play against your friends in co op, as in a 2v2 or 3v3, just select your settings to be the same but unique. Do like all star hitting and hall of fame pitching on casual, and if you que at the same time as your other 2 friends you should matchup with them. This worked for my buddies and I in the October and November timeline of the show 25, might be harder around launch with a bigger playerbase

When will the emersiveness of commentary finally get implemented I wonder? Oh the day when I can play multiple franchise seasons and the commentary mention accomplishments from the previous season(s). Like awards won, world series champs, etc. AI is well capable of this for franchise mode sport games. Until it does, franchise modes will continue to feel and behave more like singular, 'season' modes.

As a franchise player the big zone hitting seems cool since I hate use pci because I want the games to feel somewhat realistic but timing hitting and directional both just kinda suck so that’s a feature I’m exited for
The sensitivity pci will be pretty dope, can't wait to mess with it

Graphics capped out a few years ago. I’d rather not have a 200 gig game just so you can see the pores on Aaron Judges face. Like who cares?
