The Bay Area Blessing - Churches sing 'The Blessing' over the San Francisco Bay Area

- During this challenging time worship leaders and others from over 50 churches across the San Francisco Bay Area, representing hundreds more, have united to sing a blessing over our city.
Our desire is that this song bring encouragement and hope as we join others around the world in giving Him honor and glory through the words of this song. May He bless you, keep you, and bring you peace today. He is for you!
Though our physical buildings across our area may be closed during this period of social distancing brought on by the Coronavirus, our churches are open and alive!

For those who say you have to be crowded into a church to worship together, putting people at risk ... this is proof that you can worship anywhere, at anytime, and you will still be together in God. I received Jesus Christ as my savior when I was going to college in SF and I am living in LA now. When I saw this video and hear the song, only thing I could say was "this is church". I have so much to say about this movement, but I will make it short. I am so proud that I got to meet my savior in bay area, and I am proud that I am christian. I don't know how many times I will cry through the day, but I will listen all day today and praise with you all. My heart is with you all.

Coming from someone who grew up and raised children in the Bay... This video gave me SO MUCH! My children still live in the Bay but I do not, and I PRAY that my babies learn (hopefully through my example and the Holy spirit) that God loves them and wants only the BEST for them and their children! as do I!!!!!

That song was so emotional that it brought me to tears! Yes we are all one under God's House. We need to still be a family and help out or fellow siblings who are hurting. The hurt that our fellow brothers and sisters are feeling right this very second, hurts us as well. We will be there to help those who are suffering when they want help. We are NOT, NOT going away. We will stand beside you for however long you are requiring us to be. I would like to that the individual(s) who came up with this idea. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. About 22 years ago I asked Christ in my heart since I was 18 years old at First Assembly of God located in Niceville, FL currently it's called Generations United Church of Niceville around November 16, 1997 and now next month I will be 41 years old I am doing home church online to keep me safer.

Thank you for your encouragement. I was a little unsure about a new song with just the pre service rehearsal, but I said I would do it so I did. Friday night & Sunday morning. I've been praying for the Bay Area a lot lately. Especially my friends and family in San Jose, Rossmore, and the Santa Cruz Mountains. I can't wait until travel is a little easier. This is amazing! I moved from the Bay Area to my new state two years ago. I miss the hills, the oceans and my church Twin Lakes (Elizabeth is one of my fav worship shjngers ever!) and I miss my church. Just by hearing a combination of praise and prayers in this video is just a blessing enough for us to know that God is with us even in the midst of the turmoil. Whether we may be suffering from COVID-19, Civil Unrests, Financial Loss, or even just being very anxious and uncertain especially with the upcoming elections, God is our only refuge and hope. As long we trust in the Lord and do our part to protect ourselves and those around us, God will answer our prayers and make this tumultuous year a miracle rather than a race filled with uncertainties.
