I gotta give props to DJ because he ended up being a real one. I thought he was gonna be a douche, but him trying to make sure Parker was safe first, then running headlong into danger to get Miri (even though he didn't seem to like her that much). THEN staying to fight the killer so Miri could try to get away, causing his own death! You earned a place in heaven my dude.

I did not expect the characters to have so much fight in the them?? And to get TWO SMART final girls, paired with the suspense and chase scenes. It was a great movie and happy to see you doing YT editorials again! 🖤
I loved this movie more than I thought I would! Definitely one of the better pandemic horror films I’ve seen
I was actually really surprised because I find most of the pandemic films to be really really annoying, I just have no interest in hearing about it anymore but this one really really surprised me

this movie was so much better than I was expecting. miri and Parker were amazing final girls, still can’t get over how miri didn’t break her back on that damn fall, it was all in all, SICKENING
Our house is a huge, real, custom built log home much like the one in the film. On a large piece of secluded, wooded property. My wife and I started watching this in our log home, and as soon as that house came up on screen, she literally said “nope”, got up, and refused to watch it. She’s still not seen it. 😂🤣

I think this is the first slasher movie where the characters actually made smart decisions 😂

I really enjoyed this movie too and your reaction! Sick and Host are the two pandemic horror movies that were done well. Some facts about Gideon Adlon (Parker), most of her family work in Hollywood. Both of her grandfathers worked in TV and film. Her father is a German filmmaker. Pamela Adlon is her mother, she's an actress and a director. She is the voice of Bobby Hill from King of the Hill and the voice of Spinelli from Recess. She had her own FX show that was based on her real life as an actress and single mother of three daughters, it was called Better Things. Mikey Madison (Amber from Scream 5) played a fictionalized version of Gideon on that same show. Her younger sisters are also actresses.
Nick’s handsome, sexy self is back. Seriously, how many other movie reactors are this good looking? And he’s smart too. A truly lethal combination.

I think a slasher film set during the pandemic is an interesting idea, but I think it could almost be a funny satire of life during the pandemic and and given that Kevin Williamson wrote it he should be able to do both aspects of this idea justice great video and look forward to more
I loved this movie and was blown away. One of the top tier horror movies of the year and yes I agree definitely one of the more better chase scene(s)! The final girls were definitely on some Sydney Prescott type shit and I LOVED it!!! I also loved how you had the same reaction I did to the plot twist! Lastly yes! Those 2020 hashtags were HILARIOUS!
Both disbelief and "are they for real" when it happened 😅 but I loved it nonetheless lol
The Chucky and Jason crossover is unreal. Imagine them both on a hunt together. Jason carrying him around while they both slash up an entire neighborhood.😂😮😂
The plot twist with the woman in the car was really good. Sure got me. The frustration thinking she’s super crazy and why the f she isn’t letting her in. And taking her time. Then the creepy stare. I was like 👀
If i don`t see any of these actors in Scream 7, I`m be really sad.

I think after the first 15 minutes of the movie My Heart did not settle back to a normal heart rate for a good hour and a half
Parker is a great final girl but I COULD NOT with her screaming that she couldn't possibly be infected because she didn't have symptoms.

your reaction videos are the only way i allow myself to watch scary movies. i have a very vivid imagination and a sick sick masochistic subconscious, so when something scares me, it locks in, and i tend to see it everywhere, very vividly, and it doesnt leave me for a long time. ur bubbly personality and comedic commetary really helps and it makes me feel like at least im experiencing it with someone that has my back. so i thank u for that

I'm so glad I'm not the only one that enjoyed this film. Kudos to peacock for picking it up in my opinion it deserved a Theatrical Release even if it was a limited one. the chase scenes we're so good. loved the plot twist. If i'm not mistaken the end credits showed the movie was filmed in Utah. Your reactions always the best lol I like how always notice details like where the fuck are the curtains in this movie. must be a budget thing lmao.

Speaking of David, so sweet for giving you Chucky. But total missed opportunity to customize it with a motor to move its limbs at random times. Imagine you're editing and see his left arm moving.

During the raft on the lake scene: Stand with your feet aligned to the planks so they don't cover any of the holes. Take of your sweater, ball it up around your hands, and when they attempt a stab grab the blade with as much coverage from the shirt as you can. They're underwater, so when it doesn't come out they'll probably panic and let go. When you feel this, let go of the knife--let it go to the lake floor. You have an advantage now--use the shirt for strangulation when they jump up onto the raft again or to hold them still in any way possible as you kick them repeatedly. Unless they're not an amateur and actually packed a second knife, then uh.. I don't know, prayer? Start going through some dieities, maybe you'll find a winner.
Maybe I need a rewatch cause I wasn't feeling this. I felt the final girl was way too unlikable. I kept referring to her as Sidney Presnott as I was watching it.

Welcome! Can't wait for you to come to Colorado! You really are gonna love it. You probably already know this, but just in case, be ready for blizzards in April/May. I know, weird lol, but the good news is it melts in a few days. Drink tons of water, and know it takes about a month to acclimate. Takes about that long to make those extra red blood cells to capture more oxygen, so being kinda tired is normal at first. But after that, you'll be good to go for the beautiful summer. ☺
I don't know, I kinda appreciate that movies are tackling the pandemic now, *especially* horror movies. So appropriate. I know everyone's sick of it (ha!), but like Jamie Lee says, it's about trauma. Every single person on the planet has gone through trauma to varying degrees over the last few years, and we gotta deal with it somehow. I figure it's kinda like WWII and Vietnam war movies - it's a way to process. I mean, since coordinating worldwide group therapy sessions is a bit of logistics issue. 😅
Plus, honestly? It's kinda validating for people for whom 2020 never ended. There's hundreds of thousands of us who have chronic illnesses, have cancer, and/or are immunocompromised, where we still can't fully participate since, you know, Covid's still having a party out there. It's really weird to have people not even want to mention it when it's still a huge factor in your life. At least here, someone's willing to talk about it.

Nick, you should check out the gay slasher "Hellbent" (2004). It's set in West Hollywood. I know how much you love "Halloween" and it's essentially the gay "Halloween". It's not brilliant but it is decent and I think you'll enjoy it. (I posted this earlier too but mistakenly deleted the comment.)
If you liked these final girls definitely recommend “You’re next” if you haven’t seen it! It has the smartest and most bad ass final girl!
Honestly, I didn’t care for this one all that much and I found the parents to be kind of pathetic in their motive. A LOT of people died during the pandemic and not everyone understands what “asymptomatic” means, so Parker couldn’t be blamed for Benji. Not to mention, how do we know Benji didn’t make out with other girls at the party?
Seconded! The resolution was likewise a bit flat to me. I liked the director's previous film, _Alone_ , so that was my main interest in seeing this one.

Hey, Nick! I was planning on watching this one already, so I was excited when you notification came up. Even more so when I realized just how many shout-outs and references to _Scream_ I noticed, and then I knew your reaction would be totally awesome!
Truth be told, I can't say I liked everything in it, but the film has a good set-up, the chase scenes don't disappoint, and there is a surprising amount of really, _really_ effective jump scares! I have never seen you this jumpy in a reaction, lol. That short rant about Tyler's behind was personally the funniest bit to me, but my favorite quote, ''Okay, so we're not dealing with a serial killer here, we're dealing with a ninja!''
If you haven't, I suggest you check out _Alone_ , an earlier (2020?) film by the same director. Maybe not quite channel material and a bit formulaic, but it has an effective minimalist quality, gorgeous nature shots and good performances by the cast.

It’s a good movie. Better than I expected and the best home invasion since like Hush but different concept. Idk if you’ve heard of channel zero but it’s the freakiest show I’ve seen where it’s actually scary. The main bad guy is freeeeeaky, at least seasons 1.

This film definitely had my heart racing throughout with the characters still making your typical dumb choices you would expect in horror films but they definitely didn't go do down without a fight.

The twist was interesting (more than one killer) to a point where the family blame the girl for giving their son/brother COVID. Love me some homages to Scream plus two final girls instead of one was a nice change and they definitely put up a fight I felt like I was participating too! I love a good chase/fight for your life scene as well and this film delivered. I probably (for sure) will watch this again because it was a good twisty horror movie. 🍿🍿🍿🔪

I enjoyed this movie so much the chase scenes, the kills and the twist at the end with the mom even though you were right her youngest made the choice to not wear a mask and go to the party so logic was clearly out the fucking window 😂
