The " dents or scratches " you point out on the paint are where the welds are done inside the boat before it was painted. The heat from the weld penetration shows up in the paint. Greg in Michigan
Nice walkthrough. I had a similar Tracker10 years ago and it was the worst boat I've ever been in. I had so many problems. Sure hope the workmanship has improved. Thanks for sharing
@@ollivihermaa Yeah there are lots of plastic parts. The storage compartments always feels like it's about to collapse. The welds aren't smooth and the steering is hard. But it's a budget boat so you get what you pay for.
Good stuff man, I see they haven’t changed much from the 2017 model. I’m looking to upgrade main motor. How well does the 90hp push 4-5 folks? I have a 60hp and it can barely break 20mph no matter the prop. So that’s my biggest issue, torque for planing. Some suggestions for you, clearly start with graph, then trolling motor; I have an Ulterra with push button lower and stow, game changer when you’re alone. I’m running two 24 batteries and onboard charger in that compartment and have first aid and flashlights in it. I’d recommend an onboard alternator charger for back battery compartment as that battery is used for accessories on the boat unless they changed that. For extra storage I keep a water sealed tote opposite of chair in back as I use inflatable jackets, NONE of the compartments are water tight. Save money and do not buy a kicker motor as the 16’s are too small to level with the extra weight, and trim tabs don’t work for our size boats. That’s as far as I can think of for our boats, oh and the wheel hubs suck! 5 x 4.75 is a rare pattern so buying wheels and hubs are ordered not in store. I’d recommend buying a spare wheel/tire and extra wheel hub with bearings
Those lines/marks on the hull are welds on the inside of the hull. Not an issue. Great video. Looking at one myself. Does your Mama know you drink every day? Lol
I did. For the most part it works pretty well. Every once in awhile it goes crazy and spins in a circle like it's possessed! Have to unplug it real quick and plug it back in. I would say at least 5 times in an 8 hour trip. Not sure if I have enough content for a video.
That's a Beautiful Boat. Thanks for the walk through. Its a Perfect size for getting on the water. But I have a Question, do you find it a little under powered? Do you wish you would have gone with the 90 HP?? Thanks again and thumbs up.
i have a 2019 model i love it . But I cant figure out how to drain the cooler and its missing the bucket in the live well . Also what bimini top should I get ?Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
Not sure about the 2019 model but in mine all I have to do is pull the plug in the cooler. You can order another bucket online at Tracker’s site. As for the the Bimini I can’t help you cause mine came with it. I’m sure you can order one on Tracker’s website.

👍🏼
I’ve had my superguide 16 for 22 trouble free years and still going!
That's great! Unfortunately for me my trolling motor battery was bad, and my live well is acting up.
@@fadedchannel mine was built before all this woke, covid B.S.
Just started following your channel. Glad I did. Dope ass boat. 🎣
Thanks for the follow! The boat has been good to me.
The little lines in your paint are the backends of internal welds
Good to know!
Nice boat bro, may you have great luck with it. What a Bass bro, awesome catch ......
Thanks bro! Appreciate the support.
Appreciate the review! Considering one of these boats
They are good for the average non-tournament fishermen. I like mine but wish I went bigger.
@@fadedchannel appreciate the insight, what about it would a bigger boat handle better?
@@mvboutdoors no, the 16 handles fine. It's the lack of storage and having more than 2 people on the boat gets crowded. Just need more room.
May I ask where this is? I saw sailboats at the ramp so I was thinking ocean but the other shots in the water look like lake and you caught a bass.
It is Lake Pleasant Arizona.
It is Lake Pleasant Arizona.
How did it hold up the Ice? And how hot was it that day? Nice review!
It was about 100 degrees that day. The ice melted very fast. It’s not insulated.
Having the livewell and TM battery in the front is nice. That should really help your boat plane out when loaded with ur buddies. Congratulations
Great point! Thanks buddy.
@@fadedchannel i would like to know how it handles the waves. Consistent 2-3 footers here in Tampa bay
@@brock45569 IMO it's not very good. You can't speed through the waves unless you're going with the wind.
@@fadedchannel thanks man

Now that I've had it for the a few months I can honestly say it hasn't. But I understand it's a budget boat and there will be some flaws.
Hi! What kind of problems you have encountered? I am considering to buy that boat and any info would be useful. Cheers!
@@ollivihermaa No problems so far.
I meant like the workmanship, which you agreed not being improved. Where is this low-ish quality seen in?

Thanks! Would love to drink every day but I have work during the week so I save it for the weekends when I'm fishing. Maybe when I retire. LOL
I got the 2021 new back then for 32k with alot different stuff but i like the new setup not bad. Go have fun.
Thanks!
Did you ever upgrade the trolling motor yet with that kit? If so, can you do a little video on that please?

I mean sure I would like a bigger engine but 90 is good for what I do. It does take a little longer to get to the hot spot but I was on a budget.
Yeah thanks for getting back to me, I'm on a budget to, I think I'll be getting the 75
That's where they welded the boat on the inside
Can you do a one year review on the boat?
You got it! Lots of things I learned.
Does the V16 fit straight in the garage with the trailer? Or do you have to tilt it to the side a bit?
In my garage it fits straight in. Have lots of room when I fold the tongue.

Hey man, love the boat I just picked one up myself bc of your video, do you know where the hour meter for the motor is?
I was told that you have to hook it up to a computer. I've never done it so I don't know.
@@fadedchannel okay thanks I appreciate it
Sick boat man! I'm looking to get the same one soon, just don't know if I want to buy a new one or an old one.
You’ll be very happy with it new or used.
Quelle est la vitesse max avec 90cv ?
Depends on how much weight is in the boat. I’ve taken it as high as 60 kph in perfect conditions.
I think the dents are welds from the inside
Yep. You’re correct. 👍🏼
Nice boat, congrats.
Thanks
Can u drive that in the ocean
There’s a hose connector on the engine to flush out the salt water so I’m gonna say yes. Maybe someone can correct me.
Check out the Drotto Boat launch. I put one on my 2016 Launch and recovery is so much easier
Awesome tip! I'll have to buy one and install it soon.
Hell ya
🙌
You will like the wooden floors
They are so awesome! Very easy to clean.
What's the width between the two consoles.
Not 100% certain but I wanna say 2 feet.
Not a good idea putting the life vest in the same compartment as the battery. Fire hazard and and ruin your vest.
Thanks. We've moved it to the side compartments.
