What they originally inteded was for both actors to wear prosthetic makeup on their heads while wearing blue suits and delivering their lines, but their IRL movements didn't sync well with the compositing so they made the character entirely CG. Proops and Capurro still did the voices of their respective heads. Proops can't really lose his naturally-nasal tone that easily. You can even look it up for yourself. Proops is only the voice of Fode.
Aisha doesn't work as host for me, honestly. Drew is/was an actual comedian and was white and fat, which made making fun of him easy and fun and he'd have good comebacks, oftentimes. Aisha is constantly trying too hard and is much harder to make fun of being black and a woman. You are walking on eggshells, especially with their current CW audience.
I have nothing against her...but I hink aisha plays the "politically correct" card waaaay too much, tries to get into the spotlight also too much, and her reactions are clearly worked...
I’m old enough to remember the show without Wayne. I’m just glad he’s improved. I hated his first couple of seasons. He tried too hard and projected too much.

He did an example question asking us what we liked about the town we were in. Someone yelled out that they see a lot of Volvos, but Greg thought he said we see a lot of hobos. For the entire rest of the night, the guys used hobos and poor people jokes as much as possible in their skits and it was just so great. My boyfriend was sitting next to me and the entire time we were there I was laughing so hard that I was slapping his leg and didn’t even realize. It was such an awesome experience. Ryan is absolutely hilarious in person, and they really do make things up within seconds. I always thought that they took time in between skits and they just edited it to make it look like it flows quickly but no it actually did move that smoothly and quick and they did a lot of musical stuff just like on the shoe. They came back out for an encore which was Hoe Down! And they made the hoe down be about hobos. I lost my mind it was so funny.
I remember seeing him on MTV’s Half Hour Comedy Hour in the early 90s, pre-WLIIA, where he made a joke about himself looking like a cross between Buddy Holly and Woody Woodpecker
He was better used in the U.K. version, the US version seemed to overlook him and treat him as a somewhat annoying afterthought. But in the U.K. version he absolutely owned that show and competed with Ryan and Colin
