I replaced my factory recoil spring with one from DPM I Put 190 rounds through it with no issues and that was my first time breaking it in. Thanks for making the video. It is a game changer for the Glock 28.
I’ve been shooting snubby revolvers with boot grips most of my adult life. When the sub compact Glocks came out the two finger grip didn’t bother me in the least, especially the way it snuggles into the palm of my hand. You can really get a tight grip on it. I love the little things. Thanks for the info sir.
The Bersa Thunder Plus is a really dope 380 compact. Holds 15 in the mag, but actually most hold 16 no issue. Nice rubber grips, kinda wide but feels solid and gives you 16 or 17 rounds of 380 in a still small and very shootable package. decent barrel length too so good velocity, which is obviously very important in 380.
I was watching another video on the G28. In the comments, a citizen from Mexico mentioned the G25 and the G28 are the only Glocks a civilian can own in Mexico. He said the G28's were unreliable and most people used the G25 because they do run reliably.
The only .380 I love is the G42. The .380 is a light round and works better with a slide that’s lighter in weight. Oh and my Colt Mustang Pocket Lite .380! That has never jammed once in 25 years I’ve owned and shot it. Pocket lint and all.
I would like to know if after this time using the new guide rod, you consider this realiable to carry. I just bought one in Brazil, and it is now the only option for carrying, since my g19 became restricted.
Youve mentioned in previous videos that you dont care for Ruger firearms, would love to hear about that, I like to hear different perspectives, and I respect your viewpoints/opinions on carry guns, I summer carry either an lcp 2 or security 380, in winter its a full size security 9
That’s not true! I just talked about their finish being poor and having some negative experiences. But I carry my ruger lcp, lcp max and sr9c often! I love all 3 of them. Just put out content of me at the range with them. I really like the sr9c. It’s when ruger was making really great handguns. Respect
Of my G42 in 380 macro compact haha the smallest one they made just as active as a big Glock, it's six round but if you file down the follower can the magazine you can easily get seven rounds in there
The examples I have used of the model 42 and 28 did jam a tad this is true but after they were broken in they run pretty well. I will say I'm using stock internal parts and cheapo rounds (Ran Hornady hollow points flawlessly). 42 ran 10 round pro mag we had on site with more reliability than stock 6 round flush mag. One thing I noticed was that the 28 stock kicks like a mule for a .380 that size but I'm fairly certain its some type of blowback design so it makes sense. 28 fit in Glock 22 holster as well not that it's worth it to do that lol.
well i'm young and cheap. hope the good lord allows me to make it to OLD and cheap lol nothin wrong with g19 gen2. hell it could be a gen0 it'll get the job done
Make sure you have a Dremel cutoff tool handy if you install the DPM “recoil system “ in your G28. One $80 POS yeeted straight into the shitcan where it belongs…
Could you tell me the exact guide rod a friend of mine wants to get the .380 28 but i wanted to her a good guide rod . I was looking at a 15lb tungsten or steel guide rod on glock store
Thanks for the info on DPM guide rods. Since I tend to not dick with my Glocks with aftermarket crap (other than sight replacement,) I was not familiar with that company at all. I just bought a new G28, because the price made it hard to pass up, and I wanted one for my collection. I have no intention on carrying it, but if I have functioning problems, I will go with the DPM route.
Have to get a glock 25 mag and then slide the xgrip over it like what he did in the video to get the same thing. The Glock 25 is 15 round and dimension is same as a G19 mag.
The fix is to get rid of it and get a 26
I can agree 100% haha
Facts
😂
Throw the Block in the trash and get a Sig P238
Shut up

My Glock 25 has been flawless. No issues. All factory.

I need to get that colt!!!! Respect
Have watched in a minute but love the video as always bro 💯

Will the 380-barrel work with a G26?

Have you tried running glock 26 mags full of .380 ammo yet?

Who makes that guide rod and springs? I could not understand that part of your otherwise excellent video.
Dpm reduction systems!
@@spnfirearms Thanks for replying. When I go to the site, I find two different systems for my 26. How do I know which one to get?

Where did you get ur x grip sleeve from
Still rocking my Gen2 19 , I’m old and cheap

Which recoil rod/spring did you use? There is a single rod and compound rod kit.
Make sure you have a Dremel cutoff tool handy if you install the DPM “recoil system “ in your G28. One $80 POS yeeted straight into the shitcan where it belongs…
What was the fix u did to your Glock 28
I’m not really a Glock guy, but if they had made a Glock 43x in 380, I’d probably change my mind.
would you please drop the website link for the x-grip extension? thank you!
Type it in on eBay and you’ll find it, respect
I love my G26, I wonder how the G25 does as far as a mid size .380🤔
Mine has a flawless 446 rounds through it so far.
Could you tell me the exact guide rod a friend of mine wants to get the .380 28 but i wanted to her a good guide rod . I was looking at a 15lb tungsten or steel guide rod on glock store
What was the extended base plate you used for that magazine
X-grips extension. Had one work fine in a g27 but another was absolute trash in a g29. That's what happens when you change from stock 🤷♂️
@spnfirearms Which DPM spring system?
They offer different ones for the 26
The soft version?
What mag is that?
Is the xgrap gen 3
Guns been out almost 30 years and Still has it's issues . Says Alot . No shade I just rather stick with my Taurus G2C !!
Other than a rusty mag the Sig P365 .380 has been excellent for me. Glock needs a 42x. Leave the baby Glock alone in 9mm lol
If I carry a glock, I carry a g20 or g21..... only changes I made on my glocks are sights, extended slide/stop release.

Glock 25 magazine with an x grip!

The dedication is respected man. For real. Respect
No problem bro, just keep up the good work.
