Im a person who burnt out on anime. Fake ass characters who are all cardboard cutouts of the same 20 personality types, generic plots and premises, same settings, fake idol worship, wish fullfillment isekai garbage with long names and stupid gimmicks. It's all so calculated and watered down from the stuff I fell in love with 20 years ago. But this show? I fucking love it. It reminds me why I loved anime all those years ago. You can tell that the production team actually had fun making this.
I just graduated from an animation and games art uni course a few months ago. I was starting to hate working on art at all. Complete art block and total depression. I watched this show on a whim the other day and it's reminded me exactly why I love animation! Why I got into the industry in the first place! I'm trying to slowly get back into the roll of things, I have this show to thank!
Eizouken was by far one of the most influential products in my life, i was just finishing college when i discovered this masterpiece, it was a new experience in such a personal i way i started to change my view of the world, there were so many emotions, i'd give everything to go back to the time i first watched it
Hard to describe but this track encapsulates most of what's worth anything in this world anymore. Living, loving exciting things are all we have at this point. Whether you have too many people interfering or not enough we all have to struggle to get ahead and do our best to be noticed and earn our living
