The problem is, when a person criminally stalks you or violates major laws, the victim isn't concerned with their feelings. The victim of the crime is concerned with making sure such a person is in custody and can never do anything like that again. It's funny I keep thinking about a guy I went out with for a very short time I cut it and I guess it was callously I realised years later that I had been triggered when I was introduced to his family something about his father made me want to run for the hills. I remember feeling panicked and just wanting to never have to go back there again. I have wanted to tell him that he had been lovely and it was absolutely nothing to do with him.
