    This episode was so good! I loved being able to look through these places and know that I’ve been there! Sweet Sage Cafe is a place that no one should pass up… if I remember right, Marilyn Monroe used to visit there and thought it was the cutest place.
    Our small family would probably go for the boutique hotel in Redington Beach. It looks like it would have everything we need! But if we traveled with ALL of the Branson Fam, we would go for the Splash Harbour condo for sure- our kids would love the water park and bunk beds!

    I used to live in Indian Rocks Beach. Longtime residents would say that the tourist vibe is creeping in, but still a more relaxed vibe overall than St. Pete or Clearwater.
    If I was staying on the beach, I would pick the North Redington Beach condo, but would make my way up to IRB for the dining options.

    • @Explorcation
      @Explorcation  8 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah, we've seen Indian Rocks get a little bit more busy/tourist since we first visited over 10 years ago, but it's still a much less touristy vibe than St. Pete Beach Clearwater Beach. We're with you on the N. Redington Beach condo if it was just Jamie and I looking for a relaxing staycation. For a bigger group wanting more things to do, we think either of the other two options would be great.

    • @Explorcation
      @Explorcation  8 месяцев назад

      Same here, Jennifer. We generally go to the beach to relax (when not filming), so the quieter beaches are usually our pick (plus they normally offer cheaper parking). I know that some of the Resort Rental properties do allow pets (they each identify whether or not they do in the individual property listings), but none of the three properties we visited in this episode do. As we continue to make videos for this series in the future, we'll be sure to specifically mention those that do!

      Yeah I guess the term "bargain" is relative. In this case you could definitely argue that the places we visit are bargains compared to some of the rental prices you'll see in CWB and St Pete. Some may consider a bargain to only be places that are $100 a night or less... which within a couple blocks of the beach won't get you a whole lot of anything. Eventually we'll make our way to explore more of south Florida and the Atlantic Coast. We still need to get to the Panhandle and the keys as well. Florida has so much to explore.

      We appreciate the feedback, but we can assure you that we are not doing this type of video to "pay the bills". You'd probably be surprised how little we actually make on it. But we do understand that this type of video is definitely not for everyone. That said, we've gotten a lot of positive feedback on this episode along with our prior vacation rental tours video, and we are constantly getting asked by subscribers where to stay when they visit the area for vacation. Since we don't actually ever stay in hotels or airbnb's (since we live in the area), this is the best way for us to show our viewers some of the options around the area. That being said, this type of video will never become or typical type of content, as our true passion will always be travel and exploring.
