- The sciptures say that this year Maa is arriving on the palanquin. Maybe she is crossing the steeps of Himalaya and the bearers are carrying her delightfully all through her way. The to and fro of the heavy palanquin makes her godly appearance through a sway. A very familiar face is heading forth towards us. It's the heavenly appearance of our mother, the most familiar yet the longly awaited. She is adorned so beautifully. The compassionate and sparkling eyes bordered with kajal, holding the pointed trishula, a snake is rolled around her unfurled, wavy hair. The tingling sound of her bangles is often blending with the dashing sound of her protective shield. This paints a picture of her strength hidden inside the serenity. Yes, our Mother is coming to us, giving us hope, prosperity and to take away the negativities, all the hindrances and the shadows engulfing our lives. Presenting Rupang Dehi, an ode to the firmness behind Her tender eyes. My salutations to the supreme goddess through the bits and pieces of Argala Strotam followed by the Durga Apadudharaka strotam.

I watched your Shiva Tandava and Ayi Giri Nandini dance performance earlier. Now I have watched Rupang Dehi performance. I think, I don't have the capacity to judge your performance. Only I can say it was just marvelous. May Bhagwan Shiva bless you in every way so that we the People of Bengal can boast of you. God bless you 🙏.
I find myself so close to the goddess through this performance. They way you dance and change your expressions it's beautiful ma'am. I am not a professional dancer, but this inspires me to learn, thanks for keeping the art alive.
