Hey Guys! I finally finished one of my longer stories!
To the RUclips community I am so excited to finally show you guys this! It's been a long haul of a project, maybe 2 years of off and on editing. You can sort of see my skill progress through the video xD (I have Tiktok now and it's going well!)
To those of you from Tiktok thank you so much for all the support! Truth is I definitely wouldn't have finished this video if it weren't for everybody asking for the next part! :) Thanks so much. This is actually the original version of the song I edited to so I stuck with it, as the timings are slightly better (I had to slow down a few of the clips to match the song for Tiktok)

Storyline (Spoilers)
The King wants to set Prince Charming up with a girl but he is uninterested in the conversation and wanders into the library where he meets Belle. Belle is a servant at the castle and the two become inseparable. Cut to months later and the King is hosting a little meetup for the Prince but he's distracted by Belle. Until Cinderella shows up...

The part where “married Belle” took Charming’s hand and it transitioned back to Cinderella as the music crescendoed and Belle broke down… BEAUTIFUL

Honestly, I think it was that last clip that hit me differently. The camera panning out from a crying Belle and to the fireworks?? One word. AMAZING.

This makes me think of Elphaba and Fiyero’s relationship in Wicked. If Fiyero ended up marrying Glinda instead of Elphaba, I bet she’d be really heartbroken. I mean if you saw the one you love, fall in love with someone else, that would be really heartbreaking.
I like that you didn't villainize Cinderella in this. Belle doesn't own the Prince, Cinderella has every right to fall for him and him for her. That doesn't mean the heartbreak Belle feels is invalidated either, which is also awesome!

I've always imagined that since watching this vid, lol. Even so, the best plot twist would be Cinderella and Belle being best friends in the end😆 I always thought they would get along the most with each other among all the princesses if pocket princesses was indeed a thing even before this vid ( Rapunzel and Merida are bffs too because of their RotBTD history). But yeah, Charming and Belle reuniting with their partners on timeskip would be wonderful. It could possibly be a headcanon too since both of the stories took place in France. My headcanon was that after the wedding, Belle moved out to a different place in the other side of the country to move on and then she meets Beast. Charming and Belle would definnitely be laughing off their past when they reunite but Belle would maybe joke about or sincerely say,
"Y'know I was in love with you ages ago, right? It doesn't matter anyway, I'm actually thanking you for breaking my heart"
"Wait what?" Charming asked.
" Yep, I'm thanking you, alright. That's all because it led me to what you and Cinderella had, true love"
Bruh, that'd be a good crossover one shot or epilouge for this!

Prince Charming looking back sadly at Belle as she flees wordlessly from him, hurt that his best friend can't even look at him anymore... the transitions between reality and fantasy of who's in his arms... Belle silently mouthing, "I love you" as he weds another... is all so perfectly done! Utterly heartbreaking. *saves amv to playlist for future needs of a good tear-jerker cry*

Also like how Cinderella seems to know what's up, when she's talking to Belle, who can't meet her eyes as she prepares for her wedding, and instead of being threatened or getting angry she just gives the brunette a sad look. :' (

God, the final part where Bella is crying and she says "I love you" between sobs and then back to Cinderella and Charming getting married killed me
Is this not the little mermaid? The prince never loves her, and never "sees" her, because he is in love with the princess, the one je thinks he cannot have?
So the poor mermaid looks on them being happy together and dissolves into seafoam ( and then into a sprite, gives them her blessing and leaves).
No these are characters from Beauty and the Beast (the girl who was left in the end of this video) and Cinderella and the Prince from that movie.
This was a completely new story the creator of this video made with Belle, the brunette, and the prince stealing moments together and Belle thought that he loved her, but when there’s a ball the prince falls for Cinderella and to Belle’s dismay, he proposes and marries that girl. Leaving her heartbroken

(Yes I do recognize both Cinderella and Belle. This is very well done, but the story is already there in "The Little Mermaid", but it probably does not lend itself to this editing as easily.)

I actually came expecting a usual love story crossover from the characters of two different story but I really wasn't expecting this. Prince and Belle meeting each other at the library is realistic and their interactions taking time to blossom into love is quite good seeing that they truly considered each other friends at the beginning. Also the shot with them sitting on chair seems underrated to me given that the design of both chairs is same including the reflection of light on their face. In the ball we see the friendship turned into love on Belle's side however Prince is conflicted until he meets Cinderella. No matter how much you engrossed in fairytale but this is true that he's a prince and Cinderella's origin is from a well fine family until she was treated miserably by her step family. Honestly in original Cinderella I think Cinderella was so captivated with Prince only because he was a escape from her reality but here we can't say much. Also the dance transition is so amazingly done with Cinderella and Prince's dance being reflected in Belle's eyes to Belle imagining herself dancing with him is surely captivating. Then comes the whole wedding scene Belle trying hard not to give in to pain, Cinderella and Charming's restlessness regards this big day and the best part Belle imagining herself in wedding attire. I seriously loved her wedding costume and the veil looks so good on her. Her collapsing is such an heartbreaking part, you can't help but feel bad for her.
All in all like some people said, the story kinda reminds you of original little mermaid but it has its own charm. It was an amazing work dear, keep up the good work. Also mind if I ask how much time did it took you to make this and on what software did you make it?

I don't villainize either Belle or Cinderella... but my take on this is that Charming always viewed Belle as just a really close friend while Belle caught feelings... which just makes it sadder :P lovely video-

Awwh poor Belle! In a way it reminds me of the original storyline of the little mermaid (minus the mermaid bits haha!) This is so beautifully edited and everything was so smooth. My favourite bits are Belle standing somewhere hidden looking at the ball and exchanging glances with Charming, and also when she imagines dancing in Cinderella's place. Felt so sorry for her! You did a great job

This is so beautifully edited, each time you watch this you notice something new. The transition while they are dancing is great but what I love so much is the reflections in Belle's eyes when she is watching them dance and at the wedding. You are so very talented I love it.

She is said to be the most beautiful girl in the land.” He said sounding in love. “Oh” was all Belle said. “I have to go now.” Charles said hearing someone call for him. “Meet today at the spot?” He rushed off not waiting for her answer. “Sure, tonight...” Belle said being left alone with only her regrets for company.

This editing is so beautiful! It’s very seamless. If you had somehow never known that these characters were Disney, you would never guess they were pieced together from different movies. And after a fight with my parents, this really gave me feels.

The story of the Rose and the Slipper:
Once Upon A Time, there lived a handsome prince, and a beautiful servant. Having known each other for what seemed like a lifetime, they had a friendship and an understanding like no one ever could. Every afternoon the prince would sneak off from royal studies, and spend time with the servant girl in their favorite place, the castle's library. They would spend hours reading their favorite stories, like the ones they were told as children. As time went on, the prince began to grow feelings for his friend and realized she could be the one. He didn't know it, but she felt the same way. However she never acted on them, out of fear that she would be an embarrassment to the kingdom. He always told her that, she reminded him so much of his late mother. Confused at first, she realized later on in life, it was his own way of saying she was the first girl he ever loved (just like his mother was the first woman to love him). The king, believing his son's loneliness needed to end with a wife, arranged a ball with eligible maidens with hopes for his son. The prince was hesitant as his heart had already belonged to someone. Before the ball, the prince told the servant that whenever he made a yawning gesture, it was a signal for her that he wanted to dance with her. The servant saw many maidens worthy of her friend but the prince only had eyes for her. When the moment of truth with the signal came, the servant grew with glee as she raced down the stairs to share that special dance. But the moment she opened the ballroom doors, she was taken by surprise by a large crowd blocking her view of the prince. When she was finally able to make it to the front, her happiness turned to sadness. The prince (her prince) was dancing with another girl, and the way they looked at each other, is a look many true lovers' only dream about. She felt helpless, and began to imagine herself being the one he was dancing with, with that same look in his eyes. Soon the prince proposed marriage to the girl he met at the ball. On the morning of the wedding, the servant helped the girl get ready. When the girl began to have doubts on her wedding day, the servant reassured by telling her about how the prince is a good guy who will always be there for her, and love her, because there's no other girl he looks at with so much love than her. The girl sensing there was a hint of heartbreak in the servant's voice as she spoke about the prince, just believed that it was she was just a concerned friend to the prince. Moments before the ceremony, the prince encountered the servant. Despite what they felt for one another,
This is really good. I actually wrote a very similar story almost 20 years ago when I was in high school. Makes me sad.

Your editing is so good, I watched this over a year ago and it came on my recommended again. I liked the ending were belle broke down, and the fire works are going off in the background makes it even better

I love this relatable video so much that I had a dream about my past where my own Charming left me for his Cinderella😂💔. But eversince I watched this video it always left me an impression that I'm sure Belle is willing to go over and over with Charming breaking her heart if it meant that she would meet Beast/Adam in the end. Cinderella is for Charming, her dreams would be fulfilled with him while Belle's dreams aren't meant for him but for the man who was destined, Adam/Beast. Everything happens for a reason, Belle was just meant to be with someone better than Charming that's all so let's all not be sad for her and for our selves if we undergo the same experience. I had gone through that and the wound is still fresh after 2 years but I am confident that everything happens for a reason and God has the best plan. If it wasn't for us, maybe we are just for something better.
