I think this was my most favourite episode yet. I freaked out over the professional intro and replayed it 3 times shaking my head Smiling. I think the format of lightweight interviewing whilst flying is spot on as it varies the content away from just flying. Its the scenery that's understandably similar, when the money starts rolling in I look forward to the Bahamas edition!

I like the airborne chat with nice scenery thing too - I just hope there’s still enough technical flying content to keep those that enjoy that happy too. Another great video Rory, after watching a few of your videos I'd be very interested to see how you use Skydemon to navigate in the air. Back in the day when I gained a ppl (presently lapsed) it was only charts and a stop watch. Whilst I am sure this is still the primary method of navigation it would be really interesting to see how you use the iPad in the air, it must simplify things a lot. I chose this video to post this comment as the route from Barton to Yorkshire is fairly busy, high ground, airports, aerials etc.

Yet another great show. It’s not the drivers that do the on board announcements on a train, it’s us guards.. Drivers drive and we do everything else.. I might see you if you are travelling by train between Yorkshire and Manchester. I regularly pass Sherburn airfield on my way to/from (H)ull as the railway line runs just the other side of the former pit (Gascoine Wood) next door

Glad to see you finally made it to sherburn and got some footage :) The confusion over the power stations is an interesting one. Most people use the 3 together for navigation but they're going to be tearing ferrybridge down over the next few years. I imagine there will be a few lost pilots after that! You got plenty of footage to be editing over the winter? I imagine it's going to get difficult to get more over the coming months.
Dale Edwards Yeah I’m very glad I managed to get a decent film there. Dodgy audio the first time and a sick passenger causing me to abandon the second time. Third time lucky as they say! I didn’t know they are taking it down. I guess the road there will still be a good marker along with the other two plants. I have got a couple of videos filmed ready to edit but I have plans for plenty of thing I can film at home too.

My recollection of the weather up North is grim. You manage to find lots of nice days for flying!
