    This was the best, clearest explanation of texture filtering I've come across. No fluff, every concept follows logically from the one before it. Thank you! I came across the vid while looking for an explanation for what 'anisotropic filtering' is, and 30+ minutes on Wikis etc didn't help. I think I'll now audit this entire course :D

    If anyone would like further information on mip maps I would recommend looking in the "Real-time Rendering" book and also the "Physically Based Rendering" book has information on how to implement some of the things but I personally don't find it very easy to understand
