I'm a struggling sinner. I struggle with guilt, shame, ptsd, overwhelming emotions, panic attacks, addictions of different shapes and sizes.
I pray to God in Heaven that I will be be forgiven and know it in my heart and finally have peace in my heart.
Last but not least, I pray for the kids worldwide who suffer from things so much worse than me.

I couldn’t help but cry when remembering truly how big the book was that Jesus threw away for me and how even now I can’t add to that book any more because it is at the bottom of the sea of forgetfulness. Such mercy and grace is beyond my understanding. Thank you for this video!
This is what is a tad confusing for me: if our sins are forgiven and removed, how then do we stand and answer for them at our judgment?
But a new book was written for you from that day till you die as we are not safe till then, if we walk in His ways and overcome till death or being changed at the last Trump if we are alive then, don't fool yourself with the teachings of the world, you have to come out of the world and if you love Messiah our Saviour then obey His Laws, this is overcoming Matthew 7:13,14.

@@annemurphy9339 when you are born again, you will not answer for your sins, because that would mean hell. There are consequences to our sins here on earth but our souls are secure in Christ. So God no longer stores up His wrath on us for judgment day. Watch the video, he talks about the two different kinds of judgments.
@@derikbarbieri8753 Yes, thank you, but this is what confuses me a little: I am saved in Christ Jesus and I know His blood and His mercy & grace cover my sins - yet believers do have a judgment. I am older and have heard so many different takes from pulpits on the exact same scriptures for Christians/judgment over the years that it is a bit of a bafflement to me, but I know my trust is well-placed in Jesus. Joe, I always appreciate how God reveals to you a perspective often not even considered by well intended believers. I've been retired from earthly employment for awhile. Thanks again Joe. My Dad is 81 and dying from pancreatic cancer. Even as believers this is so difficult to say goodbye for us and really hard for my Dad. I honestly loved the parable about the beggar and the rice. The prize TRULY out weighs the PRICE we pay for being followers of Christ. I believe when we truly understand the immense power of the Holy Spirit and the strength God's placed within us..we as believers, not only embrace the storms of life. We invite them in, not for the purposes of pride. Simple to give glory to our risen King.

I don’t get it. In the Bible, the rich man went to hell for not giving to the poor man. Why would Elon or Trump come to my house and ask me for a few hundred dollars?
Maybe there’s a point to this Indian proverb but I’m not getting it. Jesus asks us for everything we have to give us back even more, in Heaven?
If I was homeless, downtown, begging, with 8 dollar bills in my hat and Elon musk stopped to talk to me and asked me for all my smelly dollars, why would I give him my food fund? I’m starving and homeless. This isn’t a chess game, it’s life or death.

@@SantoValentino In Heaven there are many mansions, and, through giving sends up to cover the materials it will be built with, and of what quality. A chance to lay down crown's at the feet of Christ, symbolic of what use one made of their talents, blessings, and compassion. Jesus said that when one is kind to the poor and less fortunate it is like you have given to Him Himself. He'd died for both them and the compassionate giver. To not feel for others is like cheapening the value of the example that was demonstrated by Christ. Just my opinion. If Elon and Trump should ever be redeemed into Heaven and didn't have Mercy, they would be amongst the poorest in Heaven. Perhaps symbolically placed upon a shelf, a ' Docamus,' or whatever the word is. Spiritually poor with nothing in their report to have made good from their time on Earth. All tears will be wiped away, but they will have to remember how they'd conducted themselves forever, after being present at the Judgement Seat and hearing the better reports of other people who had honored the Lord in their living bodies.

I don't want to get a reward, I just want to give everything and for everyone to come to know Christ. I don't see the point in pursuing the reward, I just want to serve the Lord.
I thought the same way until my Pastor brought up the verse about what we will do with our rewards!!! Casting them back at His Feet ❤️ to have some just to do that with seems like it’s worth a little of my effort
@@rhea_celeste I just want to serve the Lord, this is my desire. He knows what Earthly desires I have, as much as I am ashamed to have such. I cast those out and pray my desires be of his will. I tell you assuredly, I want no reward, I just want to serve the Lord. He has told me many things I must do and I follow him wholly. I will do these things as he commands and I seek no reward. It is reward enough for me =, even if I save none and this is the Lord's will, that I might have spread the word that I might have lived for him. I tell you again, there is nothing I need that he will not fulfill when the things I am pursuing are of his will and his spirit dwelling in me. Sure the rewards in heaven sound great but to have him in my life? This is enough for me, and always will be. I see now why David sung such praise of the Lord even in the midst of his wallowing. I am not needing of anything but my Lord, I take up my cross and follow him.
I know what you mean. When you realize just being in the presence of your Creator and Saviour is enough, it changes your perspective on what is truly important. Seeking rewards in this life is meaningless, and spending eternity with reward-Giver is all the reward I could ever want. I know where Joe is coming from, but it’s important to distinguish between seeking rewards of any kind vs. the pursuit of wholehearted relationship with the Lord God Almighty.

I don't believe in following a stick to get a carrot, I believe in following the call of my master and the carrot if he so wishes to give it then I shall take it. He is enough.

Even if all of the person's works are loss, their life is guaranteed by the cross if they face the BEMA (the mercy seat of Christ judgement). As a believer, I know I will suffer loss at that judgement because of the things I know I have done and not done (that I should have) and words I spoke or my silences where I should have spoken. There are a great many things I am consciously aware of that are to my loss and I truly believe there are so many more I am not consciously aware of. My only hope is that my life is guaranteed even if all my works are loss. I still need, want, and have to try to gain rewards.
There is a difference between mercy and grace. Grace is freely given when not deserved. Mercy is given because of good works. It is only in the grace of Christ and His cross that we can live.

It means that we are to love and give in service to God rather than to promote ourselves as righteous in the eyes of other people. As an example, the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing when we play guitar. One hand strums and the other hand makes chords on the fretboard. Similarly when we play piano, or play baseball, or when we do so many other things, each hand does something unique from the other hand. And so, it is not necessary that one hand knows what the other is doing. Jesus' statement illistrates that on the one hand, we have service to the Lord and on the other hand we have service to be seen as righteous before other people. As Joe said, those that give to be seen by other people get the reward of the praise from the people who see their deeds. Those that give in secret, as Christ says, they are storing up treasures in heaven. The bible teaces that when we give, we are to give without announcing it to the world and our Father who sees what is done in secret will reward us. The issue is hypocrisy. Are we truly giving to serve God and provide for the needs of others or are we giving to build ourselves up in the eyes of other people?

Amen..............Nothing is ours anyway. It's ALL His!! We are only giving back to Him what He has given us!!! He has no needs. We have every need. Our need is to serve Him, honor Him, Love Him for everything He's done and provided us. We need to Serve Him.
I have my kids to love and not because they love me back in fact I don't know if they do and no conditions or strings attached until they are ready to leave the nest .I try. I need them to be the best and I serve them when it's possible and when I know-how which is not often and every one thing they do right I get the glory quite a few times that I must say. God must want this for his kiddies without a doubt and that is why he has made the world so miraculously with more than we need and all we have to do is see that miracle and love and open handendly receive and enjoy. We ruin it for ourselves, especially by missing this part here and therefore look for escape, our thoughts starts looking for rewards elsewhere and some of us want others to be punished I don't know fir what?. Revenge God they say. Even parents who are not sure of what loving their kid would look like, would not want that for their naughtiest kid. The bring them back under the wings and tell them in private before they ask them to go and try again. Believe you as a parent I see it. My opinion.

We shall begin by wanting to be His favoured ones, then who is to sit on the right hand of Him and then whether women got the right to speak if no one is speaking to them or is it the kids not to be seen and heard at the same time. We are awful and we must accept this first and that no one is gonna change us but we. All humans. It's just a matter of time. Try it with those you know and especially yourself. The amount of energy you waste trying to be acceptable.

In England we have.a Charity, CAP, Christians Against Poverty. They got me out of debt, and back into the Church, Give God Thanks and Praise! They even allow you to have your phone, make your monthly payment for it. God Is Good! I cashed in one of my pensions, Thank The Lord for Providing! Do they have these kinds of Charities in America? The Thing Is, to do something Sooner than later, as it can escalate. Pray on It, The Lord Can Get us through Anything, He Is Good, All the Time! I got into debt through sickness, couldn't earn enough, as my hours went down from 20 to 6. I survived on some savings, but then Had to go on Benefits. The Lord had me by the hand Through it All. 3 major illnesses diagnosed in 18 months, heart, diabetes and cancer. The Lord IS our Strength, Peace, Joy, and Healing. Everything Is Possible Through Him, Praise His Holy Name!

Much needed message!!!! I have been studying Faith the last few weeks....and so often Christians forget FAITH IS ACTION! It isnt a feeling or a wish....we have been given a portion and we must develop it...so that we can stand before the Bema seat knowing we have done all to praise and honor and serve our Savior and Lord!
I woke up one morning to see my dad burning all my Harry Potter books on the BBQ grill. I was very upset at first, but then he looked at me with sorrow in his eyes and asked me; "Do you love these books more than Jesus"???. I was very taken aback at his question. I did not understand why I could not love Jesus and Harry Potter. My dad then read to me the story of Elisha, and how he slaughtered his oxen after he was called to be a prophet. The moral of the story was that, you need to get rid of anything that may hinder your walk with Christ. If Elisha had not slaughtered his oxen, he may have been tempted to return to his former life and abandon his mission for God. My obsession with Harry Potter was causing me to develop an unhealthy interest in the occult and witchcraft, and this was endangering my relationship with Jesus.
I only enjoyed the story while I read it. When I was done with it. I was also done with Harry Potter. I have many favourite story, but the Bible is still the best. My bible lies in front of my bed. Because I don't want to be far from it. It is my most precious property.
GOD praise you I love GOD and Ik Jesus died for our sins not just mine but the whole world and every time I see this I want to cry with happiness because I love Jesus with all my heart and I can’t live without him.
