- From Season 7 of Walt Disney's Disneyland Anthology program we have Episode 21: Auld Acquaintance which originally aired on April 2nd, 1961. Note: I've inserted commercials from the original 16mm broadcast into the Walt Disney Treasures DVD release. The commercial quality is poor compared to the brilliant DVD restoration of the episode, but I wanted to recreate a more authentic television viewing experience!
Two bandits attempt to steal the army’s payroll, and Zorro’s identity is almost compromised, until he uses his wits to foil the bandits and ruin their credibility. Starring Guy Williams as Zorro and Don Diego de la Vega, Henry Calvin as Sgt. Garcia, Gene Sheldon as Bernardo, Ricardo Montalban as Ramon Castillo, Ross Martin as Marcos Estrada, Suzanne Lloyd as Isabella Linares and George J. Lewis as Alejandro de la Vega

Oh my word! That was a nail-biter! I can't believe Don Diego pulled that off Ross Martin was a HOOT as the sidekick--he steals every scene he's in. Please tell me this isn't the last Zorro episode? Please tell me you've got some secret stash of extras somewhere???? Guy Williams is superb--so foxy (tee hee) and that twinkle in his eye--goodness! This was exceptionally fun. Cannot express how much I appreciate these wonderful TV shows. And hey, what about The Yellow Peril (Peter Brown) showing up in the Lawman series? Who knew? Where are these simple, fun shows these days? Thank you so much, Brian, for sharing these. I feel about 10 years old when I watch them and that's a great feeling! @Keepingwaltindisney
