Awww, dang, sis. Sorry you missed it. Thanks for sharing this with us. Unfortunately, my camera, even filtered, couldn't do it justice. Yes, the temperature changed to cool very fast, like 65°, then back to almost 78° once the eclipse was over. Was so strange. The silence was weird, too. Yes, the babes enjoyed their time in the shade. It didn't bother them at all. We love you all too, and biggest hugs n kisses to baby Khloe ❤️
hey guys that was pretty cool....it got so dark in the house poor Charlie got confused...Mark went out in it and was able to get some pictures....thats what he said that it got colder ....Savannah is up north in one of her communities and was able to take some pictures that was pretty awesome....well have to say good nite and loveya tons....have to get up and go for physio tomorrow and also get a new green bin...because someone pinched our other one.....stay safe and warm......X

Glad you guys got to experience the eclipse. We did in august 2017.. it is quite the experience, I remember how quiet and still everything became during totality.

@@penguinandthechef7302 I don't think 2017 was in Indiana. Was west coast like Oregon Washington totality could be a few other places. This one wasn't in my area only a little percent and we had solid rain. I remember 17 and it was similar to yours how lights came on got chilly, birds stopped singing, moon over sun. I'm so happy you guys had a great time with family.❤️
Hi Penguin and Chef! It was too cloudy and rainy today for us, so no viewing the eclipse for us.
The last one we were able to view was 2017. I have a picture of my youngest daughter on the patio with her view box and the shadow on the patio from the tree was all crescent shaped leaves, it was so cool.
The devils comet was supposed to be crossing, that could be the star you see.

Hi Willow, and thanks 💕 I'm sorry your weather wasn't great today. I've had a couple of other friends who didn't get to see it as well. That spot I thought was a star was actually Venus. We were on the lookout for the comet but didn't see it. I'm glad you at least have that picture and those memories of the last one. We honestly do not even remember the one in 2017, so I have no idea how it was here. Our faults we missed out.
Haha, that silly guy is my brother. I just love him so much. We are so close, and I love spending time with him and my sis-n-law. I call them Charles and Caroline, lol. My sis-n-law refuses to be on video or have her picture taken, but she has Caroline Ingall's hair and sounds like Patsy Cline when she sings. If she wasn't so shy as she is, she would have definitely had a singing career.

@@penguinandthechef7302 whoops, sorry brother. I had to stop for a few minutes while watching your video to text my daughter back. Anytime she leaves here to go home I ask her to text me that she made it safely. She came over after work last night and I had made supper of lasagna and garlic knots and we ate together.
That’s why I was so late watching videos, she didn’t leave till it was after 10:00 pm last night. Guess my brain was on hold, lol.
I took my brother to his specialist for the results last week of his PET scan and he got the all clear on cancer Praise God!
But he has a touch of emphysema. His cirrhosis has almost gone too. His hernia in his stomach is still there, but kidneys and everything else looks good.
So many people were talking about God was coming back and the world ending. I told my girlfriend that the Bible says no one knows not even Gods angels know when that will happen, just be ready whenever it does happen.
I enjoyed watching y’all have a fun time.

Hopefully, they can treat his emphysema in a way that between he and the doctors, that too can improve, because it sounds like everything else is going in the right direction. I'm so happy for him and for you all. I bet that was a load off your shoulders.
I'm so glad your daughter made it home safe. It's a loving gesture to make sure she texts or calls you when she gets home. That just shows love and concern. You're a good mom 😊 and lasagna and garlic knots, yum 😋 I bet she enjoyed that. I know I would have. Lasagna is so good, and I can tell from our previous conversations that you're a great cook 😋
As for thinking my brother was my brother-in-law, no big deal, I just wanted to let you know. Never know if you decide to come visit sometime. Just shows craziness runs in our family, lol. I had to give him fair credit because he puts up with me, lol. I love him bunches. He's a wonderful brother.

Hello friends and family ❤ I have a correction to make following our local news. That wasn't a star we saw. It was the planet Venus! How cool is that? So please forgive me for the misinformation. Also, our temperature dropped 9° while it was dark, and went back up that 9° after the Eclipse was over. Was sunny and a perfect 75+ degrees here. Hope everyone enjoyed their Eclipse Day as well. That was amazing we didn't actually get a chance to see it here. It didn't show very well so we didn't get a very good view of it, unfortunately.
