creepypastas haven’t gotten much scarier, but they’ve sure gotten a whole lot cooler recently
I like it more when they go for unsettling rather than scary. And oh by, this Mario World series of videos have done it so well so far.

I've always had a thing for the Creepypastas that shoot for being moreso cool or engaging than just being straight scary. It's why I found stuff like the Godzilla NES creepypasta so fucking good where others like Sonic.EXE fell flat.
Luigi has survived the longest in the series, seeing how the enemy faces him head on to attempt to take em out makes sense.
Except it wasn't Luigi. It was ANDREW.

I really want someone to make this eye creature into a literal boss inside a Mario rom hack, it looks pretty cool as a boss fight.
or if they can't then have it be a different protagonist fighting off a brainwashed Mario who's using all of the power ups against the player seeing the player as just another one of Bowser's minions.
Im not sure if some sequences are possible in a rom hack(like the sequence where you have to avoid fences), but in a fangame? Sure

@@miguelzinn07 Indeed, thats a good example, that sequence has 3D spaces that only certain chips could reproduce well, but not as much in a SMW cartridge.
@@JoseViktor4099true, but I think we can add scripts to the rom hack for it to work, with the power up randomization for 0 man and also the screenshake because the sliding is already possible for 0 man the difficult part is the sprites and pixels as for the Text "Lets have some fun! 0)" that the 0) changes drastically with the effects and everything, Or. Making another project of smw but not the official smw then add various different chips for every single thing of the bossfight so the boss doesn't glitch out also people could use the Toad as phase 1 and use 0 man for phase 2 and after that you beat the boss
