Jouef had out some interesting models. I know they sold their Orient Express and TGV train sets through Bachmann in North America. The models were sold as Bachmann but were made in France by Jouef. They also supplied some structure kits and scenery items sold under the Bachmann brand in North America for a period in the 70s.
@shnorth888 Interesting to know, thanks, the only non UK rolling stock I have is a TGV, would love to collect more of those, but I've imposed a self ban ! Cheers for watching and the info 🙂
I've only one joueff it's a class 40 in 00 as you say they produce H0 so does Lima so you have to be careful if it's 00 you want, great video thanks for sharing John
@martinbrain3372 then I'll look into them more, cheers 🙂 I know Lima had a habit of listing UK rolling stock as OO in their international catalogues, Jouef may of been the same
I have 3 of the Jouef Class 40 locomotives, in BR green. When compared to the Lima Class 40 model, the Jouef one is far superior on detail & paint finish. For instance, the cab side windows have the interior handles on them, something the Lima model does not. On the downside, the Jouef Class 40 motor and gear transmission can be as noisy as a room full of women. Did I mention that the white head code discs have lights??
thanx, very nice😊
First Joueff catalogue I’ve seen is that. Interesting look through, many thanks 👍🙂
@stuartallen8684 that's OK, got a couple of full catalogues to still film, so more coming 🙂

@johnbill9201 yes, and their mk3 coaches I need to investigate more 🙂👍
The class 40 and MK3 stock were OO, not HO, so you are not excused from searching for some for your layout!

@martinbrain3372 a further thank you 👍 just managed to bag a set of 3 (with OO on the box) thanks to your push to look into them more 👍👍
