The sudden death of the watermelon makes us all sad.
The first time I met a watermelon was in early February.
We spent more than two months together.
I wanted to send pumpkins and watermelons back to nature around May, but everything doesn't go my way.
Watermelon has been eating less honey for some time.
I searched the life cycle of the amber bees and found out that males die the following spring.
But I didn't know the watermelon's death would come so soon.
(In the case of Ranger, he gave me a few days to say goodbye.)
The next day I headed to the countryside and buried the watermelon next to the wasp.

I feel for you in this experience. Last year, I had several caterpillars that metamorphosed into butterflies, and one of the butterflies came out with a shriveled wing. It never expanded properly for some reason. I realized she was female after I saw other butterflies "pestering" her. Anyway, when it came time to release the butterflies after having them a few days, I kept her, because she couldn't fly, knowing that I would need to give her the best life I could. She never did become able to fly, but she got pretty good at jumping straight up and falling on her back like Watermelon. She never went hungry and she had a whole enclosure to herself. She ended up living a week and a half longer than painted lady butterflies are supposed to live, and I hope she was happy :)
Aw I had two pet crawfish once, one was big and had a missing arm. The little one was feisty and kept hitting the big one. I soon had to release them, so I put them in a creek by my house. And I never saw them again

You gave that bee so much, he learned how to fly when he might not every have learned. You kept his tiny tummy filled with honey every day. He may have passed but he passed while having lived a fulfilling life. I'm completely terrified of bees because I have an allergy, but this makes me want to cuddle a bee. I love this video!

This is so intense, I always been scared by bees, but now I see that they are just animals who deserve respect from humans. Animals dead is a natural thing but I know how much it can be painful, just remember that you did something beautiful to show that to people who didn't respect bee's life, they will change because of you.

Humans really are strange, forming bonds with almost every creature on the face of the earth, enough to leave us devastated when such life ends. I wonder if those animals/pets/companions know how much of an impact they left of what seems to them like an ageless and strangely benevolent primate, and if they appreciate our bonds with them.
Interesting thought. Human emotional bonds with pets and other living organisms.
All the bonds we share can seem insignificant from the outside. But, from within, they give us purpose and meaning. It’s a beautiful thing...

I greatly appreciate sharing this moment with you, the creator, and all of the other people that enjoyed this video. You can hear him stifle tears in the background as he mournfully looks at his baby bee's bottle, and remembers the good times they had.
His bee was imperfect and couldn't fly very well, but they had a special connection that is rarely shared through history. Both man and creature came together and were at peace with one another.
I hope that bee knew how much it was loved. It certainly seemed to like him.

This makes me sad. My 1 year old kitty Palomo passed away on the 22nd of last month. I’m still not over his death. This just sent all the emotions coming back rip watermelon❤️

I've wanted a pet bird, but I'm very prone to emotional things and I get attached to things very quickly, I don't I'd be able to have a pet knowing that one day I don't have them anymore..
