Dr. David, I recently found your channel and immediately subscribed. Thank you so much for the valuable info you provide. I have sprained both ankles many times since I was a little girl without medical intervention. I am now 68 years old and both ankles look deformed due to huge amounts of scar tissue which have developed. Will massage gun and the exercises you have described break up some of my ankle scar tissue or is it too late for me? I appreciate any advice you might be able to provide.

She’s leaning forward too much and looking down to grab the handles of the crutches, they should actually be a little bit higher and meet your wrist as well as matching up around the top of your hips. This will depend on your arm length of course, but I found this to generally be a lot better and the patient will find it a lot easier to use (especially if it’s their first time)

Hey SteamCast, those are great tips to make using crutches more comfortable. As long as they are off-loading the ankle, then healing can go as fast as possible.
