No doubt that the Cambodian will steal the bun cha and then just rename it like they did with most of Vietnamese cuisine.

Does American military go to war in Iraq & Afghanistan by George Bush Jr., Panama by George Bush Sr., Yugoslavia by Clinton, and Vietnam (by John F. Kennedy) get free land from those countries? American got nothing, but kicked out from those countries instead. Only Vietnam go to war with Pol Pot (Khmer Rouge leader) gets a lot of land and islands from Cambodia. Phu Quoc is one island that Vietnam took. It is called Kos Tral in Cambodia. Cambodia pilots landed in that island during the civil war and Khmer Rouge also guarded the island during their power. Who does not want to wage a war if they get a lot of free land? Veitnamese people can go in and out and live in Cambodia freely, but not Cambodian can do that. Do you know South Vietnam is belong to Cambodia? Those Khmer Krom people are living in their own land and they got beaten by Vietnamese authority everyday. English term is Human Right Violation. The French signed off the South Vietnam during WWII, but stupid Sihanouk did not take the French to ICC. Instead he helped North Vietnam to fight American by letting North Vietnam used Cambodia land to take arms from China and Russia back to the North called Ho Chi Minh trails. Then, Sihanouk kicked out American in the late 60's out of Cambodia. The CIA toppled him from his palace and he went to live in China and called up Cambodia people to join him fighting Lon Nol. SIHANOUK IS THE FATHER OF CAMBODIA COMMUNIST BECAUSE HE ONLY SIDED AND SUPPORTED VIETCONG AND CHAIRMAN MAO TSENG TONG.

Before the united nations was founded in October 24, 1945, San Francisco, CA. No country was recognized by the United Nations. There were only nations and empires. Cambodia declared independence from France in November 9, 1953. She became a country since, so Cambodia have never in possession of the mekong delta or any the land of thailand or laos, but the khmer empire did have some khmers living there. The Mekong delta was a swamp and deserted by the central government of the Khmer Empire. There was small number ethnic khmers living there and the vietnamese started immigrating into this place in 1600s and that's why vietnamese population quickly outnumbered the original khmers. After that the chinese immigrants came in late 1600s and in 1700s. A chinese warlord named Mac cuu or (Mò Jiǔ in chinese), explored and ruled over Ha Tien and Phu Quoc island until 1706. He then switched allegiance to the Nguyen Court and in return received the title of Tong Binh of Hà Tiên and the noble title Marquess Cửu Ngọc. Since then Ha Tien and Phu quoc Island were incorporated into the vietnamese territory in 1706. Source en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M%E1%BA%A1c_C%E1%BB%ADu. More chinese, vietnamese and khmers migrated to the mekong delta during the french colonization of indochina(laos, cambodia, vietnam).
The Khmers originally did not come from cambodia, but from burma and thailand. The Cambodians are closely related to the Mon who settled further to the west but of whom only small pockets survive in Thailand and Burma. The Champa people were actually the natives of central and southern Vietnam, and Founan (Funan), sited in the southernmost part of Vietnam and most of present day Cambodia. Source www2.umbc.edu/eol/cambodia/histcamb.htm#:~:text=The%20ancestors%20of%20the%20Cambodians,survive%20in%20Thailand%20and%20Burma. So don't tell us mekong delta and most of present day Cambodia belong to Khmers.
Don't be like Putin who is reclaiming some regions of Ukraine just because there were a large number of ethnic russian living in those areas. If this is the case, then the Mexican immigrants can reclaim california because the mexicans were the majority in california, The tibetans can reclaim their land in china, Mongolia can reclaim inner mongolia, American indians can reclaim almost of the USA. All countries in the world can be broken into many small countries.

    Liberation or invasion.
Americans always mix em up. lol :D
As an independent expert, I would argue that Vietnam stole alot from Cambodia during and after the "liberation", and not only that, they also took political influense over Cambodia that still echoes to this very day. Love your vidoes man, hope you don't mind my comment. 🙏

You need to have the invasion first then the liberation. Without the invasion, no liberation. By the way, Cambodia had nothing left to take after the liberation. The Khmer Rouges already sabotaged the whole country. There was nothing left intact in Cambodia after the liberation. My cousin’s account of Phnom Penh when he and his comrades liberated and entered the city. There was nothing left except mass graves, some were freshly dug, and Cambodian human remains killed by the regime of the Khmer Rouges. Most of the city dwellers were killed if not enslaved in the countryside by the Khmer Rouges. He spent time in eastern EU working after the Vietnam War but he saw nothing like that, such barbarism. I’m also mutual by any perspective but I have to speak the truth from a live person, a soldier who liberated Cambodia at that time, my cousin. His comrades lost limbs due to the dirty fighting techniques of the Khmer Rouges. Many dirty grenades were planted in the surrounding city of Phnom Penh by the Cambodians, the Khmer Rouges, to maim their own people and the Vietnamese liberators. Due to this many of my cousin’s comrades lost their legs and feet. War is dirty anyway! After the liberation, Cambodia was in chaos, many resources were gone (the Khmer Rouges killed all the cream of the crop of the Cambodian population). There was a scarcity of doctors, nurses, administrators…etc. on top of that l, some of the Khmer Rouges ran across the border into the jungle of Thailand to hide and came out once in a while to stir things up in Cambodia. Vietnam was gearing up to cross the Thai border and go deep into the jungle of Thailand and end this once and for all, but the Khmer Rouges’ comrades, the Chinese, invaded Northern Vietnam. This forced Vietnam to fight two fronts, slowed down the effort, but still kicked their asses, both the Chinese and the Khmer Rouges…:-)), but Vietnam ended up staying in Cambodia ten years to train and completely rid of the Khmer Rouges for good. Without the training and the support from the Vietnamese after the removal of the Khmer Rouges regime, Cambodia had no chance of governing itself or to operate the affairs of the country. Most of their people were dead!

Starting in 1977, the Khmer Rouge conducted cross border raids into Vietnam, killing thousands of Vietnamese civilians. The Khmer Rouge leaders spoke openly of wanting to annex Vietnam. In 1977, during internal purges of the Khmer Rouge regime, Hun Sen and his battalion cadres fled to Vietnam. During this time he tried to convince the vietnamese communist government to help his cadres remove the Khmer Rouge regime, but the vietnamese refused to help. From 18 to 30 April 1978, the Khmer Rouge army invaded the town of Ba Chúc, An Giang Province, Vietnam and killed 3,157 civilians. At the end of 1978, the vietnamese government finally agreed to help Hun Sen and his cadres invade Cambodia to remove the Khmer Rouge regime to mainly stop the khmer rouge from invading and killing more vietnamese civilians.
After the Khmer Rouge regime collapsed, Some of Khmer Rouge soldiers ran to Thailand and some stayed in Cambodia along the border of Thailand and Cambodia. Hunsen said he asked the vietnamese government to have some vietnamese troops stationed in Cambodia to provide security and protection for his new government until the last khmer rouge soldiers are removed.
The invasion of cambodia was caused by the invasion and killing of Vietnamese civilians by the khmer rouge soldiers and their leaders' ambition to annex vietnam and with the help of Hun Sen's associates. Hun Sen also said only the vietnamese government agreed to help him, but no one else. If you don't think we help liberated your country, then you should thank Hun Sen for asking the vietnamese invade cambodia to topple the khmer rouge regime and stay in cambodia for security and protection of the new cambodian government, otherwise the khmer rouge soldiers could regroup and continue to kill more intellectuals and dissidents. Hun Sen was grateful for the help of the vietnamese government.
