I watched 2 different videos of how the dough is made . Your dough is flaky with shortening and the other video the person made their dough with yeast and milk. It’s like bread texture
I agree with you... but I think maybe some people use the word kinda interchangeably.... so I still put it as salara but yes you are right it is more bread texture... I believe it is what we actually call coconut turnover here in Trinidad... and not the coconut rolls but 🤷🏻♀️
