My frickin favourite monster. Love the design on this thing it feels like you're literally fighting an angel sent from the heavens to "fuck yo shit up". Also the lore behind gore magala and chaotic and the fact that it causes a literal parasitic disease that makes people into carriers for its young. Shagaru magala feels straight out of resident evil and I love it.
i first complained as a hammer main that risen shagaru just moves way too damn much, even though i killed him on my first try. now watching this, i take it for granted being able to handle him just fine with his crazy moves.
A bit unrelated, but my first go against Master Rank Valstrax, he one-shot me with a nip. A BITE from Master Rank Valstrax instantly killed me. He proceeded to plaster me into the ground and impale me multiple times.
Props to AXIDIUS for sticking it out with hammer for this fight. It hear this is very tough for hammer players, especially with how dangerously close you need to be to the head to actually deal damage, and multiplayer doesn’t make it any better when he targets other people. Good stuff.

So Hazard Risen Valstrax and Hazard Risen Shagaru is the two of the hardest fight right now and it is pretty 50/50 about which one is harder, so can't wait!!!
As a lance main, I really felt Axidius complaining about just hitting his stupid wing arms and doing zero damage lol. Those things are CONSTANTLY in my way. His size is just that awkward amount where you can't be under his wing arm and hit his head from the side either. Great video though! Thanks for the laughs as always!
As a hammer bro I feel your pain. Damn his big wing arm. Makes it a massive PiTA to reach the head. A better alternative usually in MP for him is to run underneath him from behind and unleash a step smash to his head.
Oh nahhhhhh 💀. Apex diablos is what I would worry about the most. The moment he starts that long yelling charge up to do a full quick dash is when I haul ass 😂.
@@kush7138 it doesn't help that the first part of the quest is a race to see how fast you can take out the Apex before the other monster shows up. When risen shagaru finally came it basically just became how long I could go for without being double-teamed
This dude's wingarms are straight up the worst part of the fight and makes grinding him at endgame nigh unbearable. Almost all of his attacks come directly in front of him, so you line yourself to the sides of him when retaliating, right? Youd think so, but the collision on his arms is so rigid and obstructive that your openings get cut shorter than they already are since you have to constantly parallel park yourself between them to hit his tiny little head. Even when he gets knocked out of his Risen state, his squirming animation can straight up push you out of the way mid-attack. If I had a dollar for every time they completely blocked me off or soaked up an attack aimed at his head, I'd be able to afford all this games DLC and still have change left over.
I've played MH for years and I'm confused. You didn't eat. Why didn't you just use a max potion and a few rations? I haven't played rise so maybe it works different now.

I managed to get an anomaly Quest with risen shagaru and a apex Diablos. I won't lie I'd like to see a video of them doing it
