This is the dip where I also discovered that straights aren't for me. I wouldn't dip it if you payed me. Dark Wintergreen in the other hand is awesome.
Dude you are closing in on 1000 subs. I remember when you were in the 200"s. Well deserved, this is easily the best tobacco site around. The playlist format makes looking up reviews very easy.
Thank you Sir! Also! Wanted to note that my father does not really pay much attention to sugar intake (eats chocolate daily) . Carbs. It seems to be all about the amount of carbs a product has.
Man this is a tasty dip! Im definitely not a straight fan (especially stokers straight as the tanginess puts me off), but its got that potent grizzly flavor that is present in other grizzly products especially wintergreen that makes the tobacco have a root beer esque tinge while still coming through with the sweet taste of the molasses and tobacco. And the smokiness is just a wonderful cherry on top that definitely gives a Copenhagen feeling that we all love!
Didn't even notice the textured side logo! This is such a great dip. One of Grizzly's best I've ever had. The quality of tobacco is on par with Kodiak, and the savory, smoky umami element that creeps in after the straight initial smell/taste - American Snuff Co.'s higher grade tobacco and higher quality wintergreen/straight flavorings and they nailed the Copenhagen smoky, aged taste. This can I just got is the freshest I've had it yet and it truly is outstanding. No chemical/weird taste I've had in some Grizzly (XLC Natural). By the way, wasn't this originally based on one of the Camel moist snuffs? I think when Conwood was merged they just switched to Grizzly branding.
So I stop in my normal gas station today. I've been on a grizzly Wintergreen pouch kick lately since they're 50 cents off. I thought hmm what has suit and tie tried from grizz that's different. I rarely venture past Wintergreen or natural. I haven't had a straight in over 20yrs. Grizz dark select! I gotta say this stuff is top shelf.
This may be the straight dip that causes me to stop wintergreen lol....I've been dipping over 20yrs and always been a wintergreen guy,but this stuff is great...highly recommend
First time trying this your review is right on , I am a stokers straight edd myself along with my natural lc and grizzly elc , but this stuff is pretty good might have start adding a can to my rotation it's sweet but subdued that sweet Smokey up front taste with a mellow almost very mild hint of natural pepper like background taste imo i got a lip in now that I'm home from work it is pretty good I'm loving this stuff my only complaint is the cut is a little fine /inconsistent for a grizzly product. Otherwise a great dip ,so was the dark wg. And I'm not a windscreen guy . As always looking forward patiently for your next video .
I will say that this is a high quality dip and you'd have to be a fool not to try it if straight dips are you cup of tea. I only had two cans within a month. I like the redesigned Grizzly cans allot.
Okay, so I'm trying this for the very first time and it's interesting to say the least. It's quite a bit different from regular Grizzly LC Straight. Personally, it seems weaker to me. It seems sweeter, but not as strong. More moisture, but if there is a smoky flavor, it's very subdued. I like it, but not as much as the regular Grizzly Straight. I like Copenhagen Straight better than this also, personally.
hey there - I’m looking for a dip that has the packing/cut like skoal but with some more nicotine. so far i feel like kodiak straight comes pretty close. i wish i could have stokers but it’s impossible to find in arizona
@@SuitandTieDipandChewGuy I disagree I think that the Copenhagen straight is like true/classic straights and this is one all by itself I don't like Grizzly Dark Select still don't know why it isn't called Dark Straight though
Dipping on this right now and I really like it!
I've fallen in love with this dip. The only short-coming is the $4.35 a can price.
This is the dip where I also discovered that straights aren't for me. I wouldn't dip it if you payed me. Dark Wintergreen in the other hand is awesome.
Didn’t know you reviewed this one. It’s probably my favorite Grizzly product, I’ve gotten a good amount of this stuff. Nice review.

Damn. Only batting around .500 predicting whether “and I am back” will be said after the break. Great review, will check it out.
Not sure, but I don't think I say it on the short format reviews.
Another great vid I just ordered grizzly dark select. And dark mint and wintergreen dark grizz does have some solid dips man keep up the content !

Add a small amount of baking soda to your skoal.
I've really been enjoying the dark select
Keep it up as always
Ah, the dip where I discovered that Straights aren't for me.
That said, this is very different from other straights. Flavor wise only the Copenhagen is somewhat like it.

Love to try this stuff someday thinking making order some snus
