I have watched your make up videos that you speak Vietnamese, but your Vietnamese in this video is a wow to me, you use a lot of slangs and local language from the South. Like "cổ, chơi luôn" not a lot of people can do that and you have a very southern accent from your mom, sounds like born and raised in Vietnam. keep it up Tina 😊😊

I just got back from Ho Chi Minh and the food was so yum! I definitely want to go back to explore more of Vietnam because it was so beautiful and everyone was so friendly! And I agree Tina haha my Indian mum definitely seems to be immune to oil splatters 😂😂

I’m Thai and my family has always used a pinch of salt as our secret ingredient for elevating our Thai tea so I had no doubt that salt made that Viet coffee delectable😋
Bun cha is my favourite dish of all time. Out of everything i’ve ever eaten, that one meal of bun cha i had in hanoi is sometimes the only thing that keeps me going lol just the prospect of getting to eat it there again
Nailing thịt kho is like the ultimate level of being Vietnamese. It’s universal, doesn’t matter if you’re from the North, Central, or the South. Thịt kho unites Vietnam 😂

In Germany, back in the days were we had coffee maschines and not those thingies with capsules or pads, we used to put a pinch of salt into the grounded coffee for flavour.

I love a good strong salted caramel latte so I'm pretty sure I could get addicted to Vietnamese salted coffee
Some salt is higher in salty ness flavor than others therefore using the correct one for the cafe muoi is crucial!! I think rather than frothing milk, it's more common to do a "salted cold foam" method -- with heavy whipping cream (not to make whipped cream but pourable status)

fyi thịt kho with quail eggs is often cooked in the north vietnam while in the south vietnam, people there cook thịt kho with chicken eggs, i personally prefer thịt kho with quail eggs because the eggs is not to big and you can enjoy the quail egg in one bite, but both are really good.
p/s: loves your vids and the ways you share your love about vietnamese cuisine, also mama hương is so pretty, she looks so young and sweet!
