I think when you jumped into the air and pressed beta to slam him, your foot made contact with his body first instead of the ground so since your foot kicked his body first it lowered his hp then when your foot hit the ground it went for his guard. I have that situation a lot with Kirishima's gamma.

Congrats on finally getting red Deku! He's my main so I recommend upgrading Beta, Gamma, Alpha sequence. He's overpowered when u get the hang of his Beta. Hope this helps and keep up the GRIND👊!!

I started using this characters after the gamma buff and i loved him even more thanks to the alpha damage buff making his early game actually okay
I just got it, so im excited to see how you use him
the reason why you were doing health damage and shield damage with the beta is because if you land a direct hit with it it actually counts as a grab doing 53 damage directly to the health it's funny cause it actually grabs them and pull them down to the ground making it good for hopping into the air and pulling any pesky mobile characters down to the floor to taste the cement

Important tip for all full bullet players that will effect other characters like shigi and toga too. Go into settings - display - show damage, and set it to show/hide total. This will make the game display say 65 for hitting the full alpha at level 1 instead of 13 5×. I highly recommend everyone turn this setting on
The beta initial hit is like a little reward for hitting the actual kick and I guess they just decided to make it go for health where the actual shock and impact of when the kick hits the ground can only target shields I guess
I swear its only Full Bullet deku an rapid bakugo where it feels like your always fighting non stop an moving so much 😂😂😂 Also the shield an health dmg only happens if you (Connect) the kick to thier body instead of them just being hit by the outter smash damage (the explosion looking image after deku lands to the ground) lol

The only problem I have with Red Deku is the fact that his Beta seems to have a magnet effect... Like I've been near Deku while he's using the beta before (in midair), and idk how else to explain it- But I've gotten pulled into it, like a magnet, and then stuck and being pulled down into the ground, for the final impact 😔
Like- whyyy did they feel the need to give Deku's drop kick a magnet? Idc about the getting my HP hit, and then my GP, just get rid of that magnet! (Sorry for the huge paragraph, it's just something that really annoys me) (Also TDLR: Red Deku's Beta has a magnetic effect and it needs to be removed, imo)
He was always fun to play, now he is the way he is supposed to be: fast, strong and tanky.
Little thing, if you aim straight up you go a bit further up, but not as far forward

If you hit some one directly with the beta it will do health and shield but if you hit with just the shockwave it only does shield
If you look up when you to the gamma it shoots you higher

Havent seen the full video at the time of this comment but if you didnt know your camera determines your jump with camera and descent height with beta. If you look up with gamma you go *way* higher than you normally would. If you look up with beta you slow your fall useful for dealing with people who stand in place when they got those Iframes

Deku can ignore the shield damage when he uses his beta when he’s going down. 10:32
When u land ur Manchester smash aka the beta directly on a person's head, it will do a bit of damage to a person's hp and also his shield. Hope it helps

Yo, Red Deku alpha does 70 damage at level one. Then 80-85 damage at level 3 or 4. What’s crazy is that he does 115-120 damage at level 7,8,9.
Doing a guild for the next FB vid. You can also beta cancel by doing your gamma. The start of the beta and then gamma.
At plus ultra he does like 140 sum. It’s ridiculous.
Also if you look up at when you do gamma. It can sent you higher.

what parts do you struggle with? i find if you have good free aim for his hip fire and good enough ADS aim, you can make him work. then if you know how to use the beta, it will take you to a whole new level with him
