Heather, my friend ( now married to a man she met on a dating app) had the BEST dating advice. When you set up a date, agree to meeting for a drink ONLY. And say that you have to meet some friends, or go pick up your kid, or something along those lines. This is so you are not stuck for the entire evening with someone who is not right for you. Then you can head home and get in your jammies 😊 A coffee date is too much like a job interview, dinner too much of a commitment. This has worked for me. Hello Heather, I live in Canada, and I’m finding it hard to find petite clothing to fit my size. The Row style is something I would enjoy, but unaffordable and they don’t offer sizes for all shapes of women. I love pointy toe footwear, would be better in nude size. This year, I have to buy a good winter coat. For so one who is petite, large busted, stomach and hips, what shape should I be looking for? Does any brand come to your mind? I haven’t dated in years, only my husband now. Since he had his stroke, he can’t wear his wedding ring, but recently he was able to wear it for half a day. He does take his medication. He tried to show to me that sometimes his ring fits and was happy to wear it on a dinner date. Our relationship had challenging times during his recovery from a stroke, it was all about taking care of him, and he wasn’t his best behaviour. Sometimes when we find the right person, during the course of the relationship, we or them are not our best self. Your date wasn’t so great, but maybe you have opened his eyes that he will try to improve himself.

Just a tip from my dating years. I wouldn’t accept drinks either unless I planned on getting to know them. If it’s a girls night out, and drinks are sent to the table.
