      Let their developers design a sidestand bracket that actually works and doesn't break every few weeks, but more importantly a working dashboard.
      Don't get me wrong, i really love this bike, but the dashboard is just bad. Looses connection al the time, malfunctions etc etc. Heard this from a lot of riders.
      I love the setup, i love the interface, but just attach it wired to the bike and ditch the phone thing that's just too low quality to pass for an actual smartphone.
      However would the merch/clothings be as affordable as many of their stuff i would be buying i guess. Great way to add revenue to a bike that barely needs replacement parts. Contrary to most riders i don't mind manufacturers actually making profit.

      @@Erwin-P The dash works fine for me lol, if the bike has been sitting for a couple of days it can disconnect from the bike sometimes but overall it works solid? Heard the kickstands suck, i went for a Varg without a kickstand. I just want my merch.. Oh and a proper oil plug! Changed oil today. Had to remove the engine cover to drain out the old oil. The drain plug is crap and is now rounded so wont get that out.

    • @Erwin-P
      @Erwin-P 5 месяцев назад +4

      I suggest to go ride one before complaining about weight.
      I own this bike next to my Beta 250 2 stroke. Had i not read the specsheet i would have sworn it was 10kg lighter than my 250 2 stroke. Compared to the KTM EXC500 it feels about 20kg lighter.
      Little rotating parts, center of gravity low and most importantly not having fuel slapping around at the top of the bike makes a huge difference.
      Also price come down, always good i suppose. But they are the same price class to a KTM 450 (the 60hp even slightly cheaper while being more powerfull). Add in suspension is ordered to your weight/likings (a €500 rebuild for any other brand), way less maintenance and actual 2 years warranty i think apart from the ''high'' new price it is actually cheap compared to a new 450.

      I rode a Stark Varg last week at an MX track and agree 100%. It was definitely fast and felt very light (even though it's 20 lbs heavier than a 450), but it's not as satisfying to ride as a gas powered bike. The fastest map (map 5) is shockingly fast, but it feels like you're riding an appliance instead of a finely tuned machine. The AMA is smart to keep ebikes as a separate race class the same way that F1 does it. I think ebikes are ideal when noise is an issue, but for me gas powered bikes are more enjoyable to ride.
